Bio: Born within the thick walls of the Northern Water Tribe, Shala grew up only able to water bend to help those who are injured. After the Avatar came and left, she was 13 at the time, she thought that master Pocku would teach her to fight with her bending.
Master Pocku agreed to teach her, but they only got through a few lessons before her father intervened. In his tradition, he did not want his daughter to fight. Especially of her ranking in the Northern Water Tribe. Her father is one of the king's trusted advisors. In his view, to learn more from master Pocku meant choosing to fight over her family.
Shala is a smart, yet stubborn girl, but she loved her family and agreed to stop learning. After about a week, she realized that by not fighting, she was not being true to herself and even the simplest water bending was not working for her. Her physical body was working against her spirit.
In the middle of the night, she left a note to her father and mother and left the Northern Water Tribe. Praying to the Goddess of the moon, Princess Yue, for protection, she is traveling towards Ba Sing Se, the great Earth Kingdom. She hopes to find another water bender who will further her training so she can aid in the war. In her heart, she knows she has the potential to be great, but she also knows that she needs the help of others.
Travel Log: She was born in the Northern Water Tribe. She now travels along a path towards Ba Sing Se alone, with little money.
Opinion on the war. She wants to help the defensless and help bring down the fire nation once and for all.
