Sur: Sur is a fishing and livestock town. The houses themselves are built into the hill sides and do not detract from the beuty of the place. However it is situated near the Aarenn moutians and is contantly in fear of orc raids and the occational troll. many a hero has also perished braving the Glory ruins north of the town.

Vance sitting at a guard post that he always sits at. Unusual that there haven't been any orc or troll attack lately. But really it's no surprise to Vance he every time they would attack the numbers would get less and less. Seem Vance has them scared for once was an easy meal to them is now something they have to fight for their life to get it.
Vance left the post full well knowing that there was going to be an attack. And as he walk though the town he saw people walking around, talking and laughing, little kids playing. Vance was glad that he could help make Sur safer and happier place.
As Vance was walking one of his friends was running toward Vance holding something in his hand. The guy yell as he was running to Vance "Look, look Vance you got to check this out.". Vance smiled and replied "What is it Jason?" Jason stopped in front of Vance handing him the paper that he was running with and said "Look man, there is a tournament in Talantha and me and the other were think that you should enter.". Vance read the paper as Jason talked then he replied, "You know I can't leave Sur cause of all the attacks." Jason laughed and said, "You're joking, right? There hasn't been an attack for weeks. And if there is going to be one I think we could handle it without you.". Vance looked at the paper again trying to find another reason why he shouldn't go but he couldn't find any then said, "Fine I will go." then Jason with a smile on his face he said, "Great!" then Jason took the bag off that he had on his back then he handed the bag an a map to Vance and said, "Here take this, it has food and sleeping stuff inside the bag. And the map has mark made on what paths you'll need to take.". Vance took the bag and the map form Jason looking at Jason with a confused look on his face he said "Wow, you really planned this out maybe you should be the one to go, haha. Well ok I guess I am off then.". Vance started walking through the town he waved bye to everyone. Then as Vance got outside of the town he opened the map and looked at it and said "Son of a-." Vance didn't think that Talantha was so far way from Sur. But Vance started on his way anyways.
