I'm not sure if the movie will really meet what we ecpect, but it will be a hit in the box office, no doubt. ^.^

The thing is the movie may only be a hit with T.F.'s and not a Box Office hit. Sad crying crying crying but probably true.

*sighs* From the experence I have in seeing books made to movies I have to say... no, I don't. But I really hope I'm wrong! I mean I haven't seen the last two movies but the Harry potter movies that I have seen were good. So that proves that some books can be made into movies... But I think that cast of those movies were like born to play those characters. I have to say that it all depends on the director and the actors.

i'd say my bigest fear is them pulling a "Blood and Chocolate" for those who have read the book and seen the movie, you know what i'm talking about. I mean i know Miss Myre's has more since than to changes things... but i'm still scared with how they'll make the characters look.... you know? sweatdrop

In my opinion. It'll be a drag. It's going to suck. It'll be blashphemous to the series! I am almost 98% positive, that they're going to choose a horrid cast, and that it's going to go down the drain, merely for that reason alone.
Although being the loyal fan I am, I'm not gonna care, and will watch it, and any possible following films, for the sake of my love for it.
I swear though, if they mess up Edward, I am going to burn the first copy I get of the movie! (I will even post pictures to prove that I did it.) Ruining Edward, is like ruining the world. -major Cullen fanboy here, sorry for the rashness in my words and whatnot-

It will be horrible. They will absolutely slaughter it. As in most cases with books being made into movies things are so messed up. I refuse to see the movie at all. The cast that I have seen so far thanks to friends looks horrible and nothing like I imagined. I know Stephanie has tried to defend it saying that none of the cast will look like the books characters because they are fictional but even so they must at least resemble them in a sense and not look so off.

The only real problem i have with the movie is the fact that Stephenie Meyer has no say in the casting of the actors or what will happen in the movie. She reports that it is dovetailing her story so far, but who knows where that will get them

I am uber-ticked by the casting people's choice of an Edward. I don't think he's handsome enough to play the part... not to mention he has pretty bad hair in every picture I've seen of him. I think it will be good but I'm not in love with their choice of actors

I'm afraid actually. I have a sneaking suspicion that they are going to butcher the books like they do with most book movies. And if it does butcher it I'm going to be very upset! They better follow it exactly or I'm going to be really mad.
And I suppose with the Edward choice, that it could have been worse. So I'm glad it wasn't worse!
