I write and eat left handed, do sports and general lifting and stronger stuff with my right hand. I'm not sure how that happened exactly, but I remember early on that I used to write with both hands but my teacher told me that I had to pick only one. The only people who taught me basketball and bowling and volleyball were right handed, so I guess that has a lot to do with it. I tell people it's the best way to do things, because if you strain or hurt your right arm doing heavy work, you can still eat and write without looking stupid.

I write with my left hand. But if I have lots of time, I can write almost legibly with my left. It kinda looks like a first graders' writing.

Hehe if I ever get to write anything legible with my left hand it will be something to write a book about... I'm more likely to learn to write with my nose...

I write left and bat right, if you know what I mean.
But like many of you here, I'm working on being ambidextrous. I want to be able to do anything with either hand. It's not too hard when I think about it, but reflexively I tend to use my left hand, and it pisses me off.

Ambidextrous! smile Though my writing is better with my right hand, because I was writing with it before I realized I was ambidextrous. >.<

My opinion is that everyone starts out ambidextrous, they just habitually learn new skills with the same hand, so they eventually end up being dominant with that hand.
