Ok, so here's the deal with this forum: if anyone has any questions about any attractions at Disney (accesibility, age-appropriateness, that sort of thing), this is the place to ask them! I'll do my best to answer questions, and anyone else can jump in with any info they have, too. If there are no questions, I may just post info about rides and shows and we'll see where it goes from there...
EDIT: If you have a question not related to the parks, you can feel free to ask here, or go to the thread in the main forum. I'm not picky as long as it keeps the guild running! Either way, I'll try to find an answer about anything asked! So ask away, people! biggrin

Cuz I'm bored and have time on my hands...
EPCOT's Soarin' "Take a free-flying adventure across the natural wonders of the Golden State aboard this thrilling Disney's California Adventure⢠park attraction. With the wind in your hair, glide 40 feet in the air as you look down upon the breathtaking vistas of Yosemite and redwood forests. Soar as high as your imagination over a world of wonders."
Location: Inside the Land Height Requirement: 40 inches (102 cm) or taller Category: Big Thrills For those with hearing difficulties, the televisions inside the loading terminal are Closed Caption enabled, which can be activated using an activator available in Guest Relations. The actual ride inside isn't equipped for assistive listening devices or captioning, but there are no spoken parts during the film. Also, service animals aren't allowed on the ride, and those in wheelchairs have to transfer into the car.
Personally, this is one of my favorite rides in all of the Walt Disney World parks. It is such a fun ride for anyone, with the possible exclusion of those afraid of heights. I'd say it's worth a try at least once for everyone, but make sure to take advantage of the fastpasses or be prepared to wait quite a while in line. Fastpasses tend to sell out fast, so make sure to get one early in the day. And if you watch carefully, you may spot a few Hidden Mickeys along the way!Info from my own experiences and http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/parks/attractionDetail?id=SoarinAttractionPage =)

Hmm, I think I would like to know why they don't have Johnny Depp himself in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride... Probably because I'd jump out of the boat and practically maul him with fangirldom, heheh. biggrin

Heheh, they seriously should have Johnny Depp there... The REAL Johnny Depp... But you're right - all the rabid fangirls would kill him, myself included! wink
