This is always fun. Let's see how everyone is with the lyrics of Rush. Just say what the song is that the lyrics are from, then come up with some from another song and ask.
I'll start easy.
"So many things I think about, when I look far away. Things I know, things I wonder, things I'd like to say"
I'll throw a harder one too.
"An ounce of perception. A pound of obscure."

Oh man, I can't believe that I know the second one but not the first one...
At least, I THINK I remember that second one. Is it Vital Signs?
As for some lyrics of my own, hmmm... Let's try this one.
"Out of sync with the rhythm of my own reactions, with the things that last and the things that come apart."
Just the first that came to mind...

Yeah, Vital Signs is right. Crap, I can't believe I don't know which song you chose. My first one was Mystic Rhythms. Hmmmm............................................................................................... I don't know. You've stumped me at least. I don't know who else'll post on this topic that might know it though. Crap, that's really going to bug me now. Fine, how about this one.
"To late for debate, to bad to ignore. Quiet rebellion leads to open war."
Good pick whatever your last one was from. Apparently I need to learn a few more lyrics. I know a lot. I have 20 of their albums.

Hehe, well if you want a hint, its from one of the more recent albums.
I'm completely stumped on yours. It looks familiar, but blast if I can't put it to any of the music that I recognise...
I'll leave it to someone else to guess at. Someone's bound to get both of ours. wink

That's "Secret Touch" off of Vapor Trails.. (:
Ugh, beaten to it. ;.;

Wow, impressed. Here, try this one.
"Like a pillar of cloud, the smoke lingers high in the air." and, "Sweat running cold you can't face growing old, it's a personal threat to you."
I'd answer the last one from Shanra, but I'm stumped, yet again. I think I'm missing an album or two that you guys have...

Really good. Wow. Okay, here. This one's easy, it's just one of my favorite verses.
All the world's indeed a stage, we are merely players, peformers and portrayers, each anothers aucience outside the guilded cage.
This one's more challenging.
We sometimes catch a window. A glimpse of what's beyond.

"All the world's indeed a stage, we are merely players, performers and portrayer's, each another's audience outside the guilded cage." - Limelight. I have this song as my Dad's ring tone on my cell... They really don't have much of a selection of Rush songs.
"We sometimes catch a window. A glimpse of what's beyond." - Mystic Rhythms.
Here we go!
Easy: "Run like the wind, As excitement shivers up and down my spine."
Not so Easy (Or I'm just naive...): They say there is strangeness too dangerous In our theaters and bookstore shelves.

Run like the wind....: Red Barchetta; one of my all time favorites.
They say there is strangeness....You have me on this one. Don't know.
