INTRODUCTION

Ah, hello and welcome. I'm Professor Pallooza, and I'll be your guide into the wonderful world of Pokémon.

Pokémon are mysterious creatures. Some people keep them as pets, others breed, or enter contests; others still prefer to pit them in battle against each other. Myself? I study them, seeing as I have little better to do with my time.

This Pokémon world, unlike those you may be familiar with, is a much darker world. A world full of liars, thieves and teams up to no good. A world with no boundary between Trainer and Pokémon. Trainers stand proudly in the given arenas, battling alongside thier pokémon, and have been known to faint from sheer exhaustion; even dying in very rare cases.

Pokémon are not, truly the gentle and naive creatures you have been told. Beedrills aiming thier venomous stiners at opposing trainer's throats, Jynx ensaring opposing trainers in ice, keeping them hostage in a glacial prison...all at the command of thier trainer.

Events will occur that require you to have badges. These will be based on the number of badges you have, not specific ones. So you can have 2 from each league, and enter the Kanto Championships.

Also, certain events may allow you to explore other regions. I highly reccomend against passing these chances up, as they WILL be widely known when they occur. As long as you haven't spent the last week inside the Seafoam Islands, or whatnot, you won't miss the chance to head to the Sinnoh.

CHARACTERS:
Aka; Important NPCs

Professor Oak:
An old man, in his early 60's, who has dedicated himself to the research and study of Pokémon. Hands out Pokédexes to starting trainers in hopes of aiding them with known species, and retrieving data on newly discovered species. Also hands out starting Pokémon.

This area will be updated as the adventure progresses.

Blue:
A veteran trainer, well known for his exploits in the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. Always calm, cool and collected, though a bit headstrong at times. Currently presides as an aide for his granpa; Professor Oak.

Green:
A young girl with a cunning nature. Wily and ruthless, she started as a seasoned swindler before joining Red and Blue in thier adventures.

Red:
Current Kanto league champion.

Name: Adrian Laurence (The Bowling Man)
Age: 17

Appearance: Adrian is a well built young man, with long Reddish-brown hair pulled back into a tail. His eyes are an emerald green color. He can often be found with a day or so growth of stubble on his face, because traveling doesn't offer many places to shave, And beard shaving is new to him. He wears a long dark brown jacket, a white shirt, and jeans. He wears a pair of combat boots as footwear.

Personality: Calm and unassuming, Adrian has an incredible tactical mind, and a real talent for leadership. Practical in anything having to do with battle, his easygoing personality can throw off people who have fought him.

Bio: Adrian was born in Snowpoint City, in the Sinnoh Reigon. at the age of 8, he recieved his first pokemon, Eevee, from his father, Simon Laurence, who was an famous trainer many years ago. Adrian spent many years with Eevee, and it evolved into an Espeon, when Adrian was ten. This was whe his father sent him off on his journey. His father told him to travel, and gain prestige as a trainer, as all kids should do. His father gave him another Eevee to start his journey, and so Adrian left. Two days into his journey, his new Eevee evolved into a Glaceon, when he encountered an wild pokemon near an icy Rock he had never seen before. He went south, wishing to see the Pokemon Mansion, and Iron Island, which were places his father told him much about. At the trophy garden, he caught another Eevee, which he evolved into an Vaporeon using a water stone he had found along the way. At Iron Island, he found himself an Pokemon Egg. This traveling took an year. On his way back to the mainland, the boat he was on was forced from it's course, and ended up in the Hoenn Region. Adrian took this as a sign that he should travel throughout all the lands, He didn't do much fighting, though, wanting more to just see the world. So he did, eventually ending up in Pallet town six years later, to see the great Professor Oak.

Appearance: Taking after older Pokemon breeders, Eliza wears a bandana and apron in a matching shade of soft red. She is small with a young face and round, shiny brown eyes the same colour as her hair, which she wears in two short pigtails. Under her apron she wears a white T-shirt and red shorts with black boots and gloves. Her gloves are odd in that she tends to wear a huge, clunky brown glove on her left hand and a thin, black, fingerless glove on the right. Attached at her waist are two leather pouches, as well as a place for her two pokeballs.

Personality: Happy and upbeat, loves cute Pokemon, secretly very self conscious, craving acceptance. She wants to seem tough for all the older trainers.

Bio: Her first dream, from a very young age, was to be a Pokemon breeder. Her older brother helped her catch a young Pichu when she was still very little, and she has formed a special bond with that Pokemon (Who is now a Pikachu, named Pirichu).

When she was 7, her brother was killed. She was distraught, and took a long time to get over this...Especially since everyone claims she never had a brother. Though she avoids mentioning it in front of her family, Eliza decided to learn how to battle Pokemon in order to get some sort of revenge for her brother, who she refuses to believe never existed. Now at the age of 11, joined only by her beloved friend Pirichu and a pidgey named Shurri, she heads off from her hometown of Viridian City to meet Professor Oak, hoping to get a pokedex to help her on her journey.

Personality:A typical teenager, Shiori has the inner temper of a boar. Willing and always picking a fight with anyone and everything, this adventure isn't about collecting them all, its for being the Champion.

Bio: Born in raised Lilycove city in the Hoenn region, Shiori was given Vulpix just after she entered Junior High. Nothing much has happened to her as a child before hand, Just her living in a busy household. Her mother, working at the Department store as a head manager, was the one who had happen to recieve a sickly pokemon...which she knew her daughter would love and cherish. While nursing it back to health. Shiori's father, the owner of the Art Museum, had always just wanted his baby girl to be a artist. But low in behold...soon she embarks on her adventure as a Pokemon Trainer.

Appearance:
A tall, lanky man with dark brown hair shaved almost completely to his head. An odd insignia featuring a set of five horizontal parallel lines can be seen tattooed to the back of his neck. He's often wears a black T-shirt, a pair of worn jeans, and, strangely enough, cowboy boots. Sometimes he wears a brown cowboy hat.

Personality: A loner at heart, and a loose cannon. He tends to lose his head easily and it shows he's very new at training. He's introverted, but can get very verbal if he's irritated. He speaks with an southern accent, which seems out of place in Kanto.

Bio: An incident caused him to leave his homeland to the relative safety of Kanto. There, he arranged to become a citizen and start his new life under a new alias; Jack Tellard. Not long after arriving, a mugger with a Charmander confronted Jack. Refusing to forfeit his wallet, but not having any Pokémon, he stood his ground thanks to his hot headed tendencies. When the Charmander refused to attack, the mugger kicked it. Jack took this time to punch the fellow dead in the face, knocking him out cold. Since then, Ellie has been following him persistently, even though Jack at first, wished she would leave him alone and go bother someone else. Over the time, they've grown inseparable. One time, Ellie accidentally set Jack's hair on fire, leading Jack to shave it whenever he can.

Personality:
Happy-go-lucky, and very calm-tempered. Falls easily for pretty much any girl that shows intrest in him, and is easily manipulated in this manner. To this day, he still resents a young girl named Green, who charmed him out of all his money, spare Pokéballs, and potions.

Bio:
Originally from Fucshia, he had befriended a wild Farfetch'd, after feeding the creature scraps he had found at home. Good sprigs were hard to find, after all, at least in the wild, and this Farfetch'd was a finicky eater.

Leaving home, with little more than the shirt on his back, and a duck on his head, --- started his adventure lacking a Pokédex. This tended to be a mistake, given that he couldn't easily tell a high-level Pokémon form a low-level one, and he tended to lose a lot of matches (and subsequently a lot of money) this way.

Returning home, he left for the Safari Zone, quickly catching an Exeggcute, a Scyther, and finding an egg within the area. Thinking quickly, he smuggled the egg out, curious to see what was inside.

Returning to his travels,he quickly found himself in Vermillion City. Stopping by the boat, he had challenged trainers that had stopped in form various regions, for a time, and lost most of his matches. After meeting a young beauty (whom he was smitten with, at the time), she had traded away her "beloved" Combee to him in exchange for the Scyther he had painstakingly caught at the Safari Zone.

Kicking himself for being so stupid, in trading such a rare Pokémon for something so common in the Sinnoh, he decided to keep the Bee Pokémon anyways, as a reminder of his ignorance.

Now far enough into his journey, he decided to head towards Pallet Town, vying for a Pokédex to help him on his journey to become the greatest Pokémon trainer of all time...or at least a good cook...

Glancing idly at his watch, Professor Oak sighed. Today was the day he was supposed to give the new Pokémon trainers thier new Pokémon, and he had had a few species imported specifically for the event. Talking to Professors Rowan, Elm and Birch, he had pulled a few favours for the event.

Turning to a young aide, he smiled. "I haven't been this excited since it was you..." he muses to his grandson, Blue. "Ah, I remember those days...that Charmander you took turned out so well, didn't it?"

A laugh, and the young man replies after a moment's hesitance. "Well, Gramps, I DID make Champoin, if you recall...and we helped fill that Pokédex of yours pretty quickly..."

Smiling, Blue remembered back to his days of training; before he decided to become a professor like his Grandfather. Travelling about, either with Green and Red or without them; it had always been...interesting.

Shrugging slightly, he returned to his computer, inputting a few new notes about a handful of new Pokédex entries he had recieved from Professor Elm. "Don't worry, Gramps; I'm sure they'll be here soon..."

Nodding the Professor walked back to the opkéballs spread about the nearby table, each showing thier contents through the red-tinted lid. Reaching down, he picked up the Eevee, looking in at the small creature. "Oh, I hope so..."

"Lala-lala~ Lala-lala~~"
Eliza sang a tune composed entirely of "La"s as she skipped down route 1 toward Pallet town.
"Pokedex~ Pokedex~ Gonna get a pokedex~~" She sang, adding a bit of dimension to her tune.
"Pii- Pirii-pii~" chirped the girls companion, a little pikachu currently riding on her shoulder. The pokemon had been with her since she was tiny herself, and since it was more of a playmate at the time, Eliza had grown accustomed to having it following her or riding around on her shoulders. Since she had spent most of her time until now in the same home town, she had never run in to many people who had a problem with this, and only hoped people in the other towns were as nice about it, since she wasn't sure if there was a common etiquette to travelling with pokemon.
She hopped over the last little ridge, too excited to walk around it, and she hurried through the main entry to the little town. She knew the basic layout of the town before hand, so it wasn't too difficult to know Oak's building was the big one. She took off fast, running toward it.
"Piii--Chaa~" The pokemon on her shoulder protested to the sudden change of speed, slipping forward so he came to hang from her arms. Eliza payed this no mind, but almost didn't stop in time as she passed the building. She caught herself and moved around the boy who was standing there, seeming not to notice him. She gazed seriously at the sign beside the door, then turned her back to the boy and held her pikachu at arms length.
"Whadd'you think, Pi-rii? It says it's Oaks lab, but I'd just feel so silly if it was the wrong place, heehee~" The pokemon looked at her with a hopeless expression, simply letting out a sigh-like "Chaa.."
As if in response, the girl looked over her shoulder at the guy standing at the door. She looked curious for a moment, then a smile broke over her face and she pulled the pikachu close again, spinning around.
"Hiiiiii~" She said, tone adding to her child like appearance. "This is Professor Oaks lab, right? Do you work here? Are you here to get a pokemon too!?" She questioned quickly, then glanced momentarily to the Espeon by his side. "Oowhee~ But you already have one! It's soo pretty~ Does that mean we can bring them inside, then? Don't hafta put them in pokeballs? Hmmmm?" She continued to smile up at the poor traveller who's path she had crossed. She was obviously excited, if not for arriving at the lab or meeting a new trainer, then definitely for seeing her very first REAL-LIFE ESPEON! Such pokemon were usually rare around these parts, especially if you weren't actively battling to be able to see them. So coool~

"I...Uh." The girl looked down for a moment, furrowing a brow in concentration, then looked back up with the same smile. "Yes. Yes it does." She told him simply, and took a moment to look him over as he introduced himself. "My name's Eliza~" She answered, and Pikachu ran up her arm just in time for her to stick it out, shaking his hand happily. "And this is Pirichuu~" She added and, as if to extend a greeting himself, Pirichu ran around behind her head to the opposite shoulder, sticking his head out from behind her pigtail to add a cheery "Pshiuu~"
