Name: Gel Winston
Role: Supervisor of the hospital--he owns, operates, and manages the asylum and regulates who works when and where. He has absolute control over everything that goes on. He sometimes interprets test scores or administers tests, but this is only when workers are short handed, so he rarely interacts with any of the patients.
Type of Doctor/Nurse: He has almost no interaction with the patients, but when he does, he is very professional and indifferent to them; he takes his job very seriously.
Age: 32
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Straight.
Personality: When it comes to his job, he is very business-like and serious, and he goes by a no-nonsense policy. He is strict and efficient, but not mean. He has close personal relationships with many of the employees, including Juliana, whom he trusts beyond even his second-hand. When he is not dealing with work, he can be quite outgoing and fun. Although he doesn't drink, he smokes around two cigarettes a day, claiming that it helps him think.
History: He grew up in the city with two working parents, both businessmen who managed a well-off company. He rarely saw them, and when he did, they were straightforward with him and almost never showed him any affection. He and his younger brother held onto each other for companionship, but currently he has no relationship with his brother because of a fight 15 years ago, in which they both claimed their parents lack of attention was the other's fault. Despite the immaturity, Gel refuses to make up with his brother. Instead, he vowed to prove that a person could hold a job in business AND have a fun life.

He went to law school and medical school for his college education; during his time at medical school ,he and Juliana were in two of the same classes and they were close friends. He lost contact with her when he left for law school to get his degree in business, and he worked for a computer company until he was well-off enough; he then started the mental asylum. He called in Juliana on a whim to offer her a job here, and when she accepted, Gel was rather impressed with her work, earning his trust and friendship once again.

Name: Juliana Freeze
Role: Testing, preventing escape or harm of the patients, administering medication. The Supervisor of the hospital trusts her judgment, work, and capabilities; when he is away, she is granted permission to pass almost any decision.
Type of Doctor/Nurse: Strict, but not mean. She does not like to torture the patients, but attempts as little personal contact with them as possible, as to not interfere with their interaction and treatment. However, due to her previous occupation as a pediatrician, she sympathizes with younger patients.
Age: Just turned 29, but likes to pretend she's younger.

Personality: While she may seem cold at first, in general she is a kind individual. Sometimes lazy, she often slacks off but always gets the job done. During college she developed a liking for going drinking with her friends.
History: Soon after she was born, her mother died in a car accident. As a result, Juliana was raised by her father. Her father was a kind man, so it did not hurt her upbringing. However, she was alone a lot of the time because her father was often busy with his job as a doctor. Nevertheless, Juliana idolized her father, and wanted to become a doctor when she grew up as well. Her dream came true; she went to college and medical school, becoming successful in both physical and psychological fields. She took up a job as a pediatrician, but when offered a better salary for a position here, she gladly transfered to the asylum, persuaded by the fact that her old friend from college was the Supervisor and the one who offered her the position. She had been out of contact with him since he left medical school for law school, but she quickly gained both his trust and friendship back. She does, however, feel that she should keep a certain level of professionalism with him, as she knows how much he values hard work--due to this she calls him by his last name, despite him telling her she didn't need to. She has been working here for almost a year.

Problems: Extreme dislike and fear of the human race in general, known to have homicidal tendencies when she is provoked.
Addiction: The wolf's fang necklace she keeps around her neck. (If anyone takes it from her, she won't hesitate to hurt, or even kill them to get it back.)

Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Very sweet, but scared and sometimes shy. She doesn't talk much until you get to know her. She is very afraid about being in the hospital, and is a bit angry that she does not have her freedom. She can be quite bitter when she is mad. A bit of a rebel, likes to play around. Even though she dislikes humans in general, she can get extremely attached to some, and is quite affectionate and loyal to them when she does.
History: Koto's parents disappeared when she was young; it is unknown whether they abandoned their children or were killed. After that, Koto still lived in the house with her older brother. Living was tough; they had to steal to survive, but they managed. Koto's brother looked out for her and protected her; he was her only friend, besides the injured wolf that they had found. They nursed the wolf back to health when they found him on the street, and after that he hung around the neighborhood in gratitude, getting occasional scraps from Koto and her brother. However, the neighborhood gang disliked the 'dog' that ran around the streets when they were out.
When Koto was 11, the gang burned the wolf to death. Koto's brother found the bones, and, knowing how much his sister cared about the animal, he buried them in the backyard, but not before removing the upper-left canine tooth and fashioning it into a necklace for Koto. After learning what had happened to the wolf, Koto vowed her revenge on the gang.
When she was 14, prowling the streets at night as always, the gang kidnapped her for fun. She was gone for several hours, so Koto's brother came looking for her, finding her in the gang's hideout, stripped naked, being kicked and spat on. He tried to save her, but the gang insisted that it was all in good fun. A fight broke out, and one of the gang members had a gun. Koto's brother was killed.
Although she escaped from that ordeal, she shut herself up in the house, having lost both of her friends now. She was alone. And so, she took the next year to plot for revenge.
When she was 15, one night she was out getting food and supplies. One of the gang members started to harass her, grabbing her and taunting her. He made a mistake, however. As he had not been getting a reaction out of her, he pulled the wolf's fang necklace from her neck. Koto snapped. She lashed out and killed him with her own teeth, slitting his throat.
She took her necklace back, and knowing that the police would be after her soon, set out to kill as many of them as she could. By dawn, there was not a single member of the gang alive; they were all in their beds, their throat's slit as the first one's had been.
After that, Koto fled, and her hatred for humanity grew. She was on the run for about a year, until she was captured in her sleep and brought to the mental hospital.

Problems: She sees dead people. So she was deemed crazy from a young age. She is very OCD and bipolar sometimes, but they believe it is because she is autistic. Epilepsy (seizures) She also wakes up in the night screaming and thrashing and quite often hurts herself by accident
Addiction: OCD (she counts over and over.) or digs her nails into her skin when scared, or for comfort. She has a bracelet with her mom, brother and sisters names carved into it. She traces the engravings over and over a lot. She will freak and scream and shake if its taken from her.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved, not liking to talk to anyone really. But she is a friendly and sweet girl if you understand her...which is unlikely. She shys away from touching people or bright lights and loud noises. She liked the dark and rocks back and forth when alone. She can be bipolar though, and turn really hyper and happy before going depressed again.
History: When she was little, her mother cared for her and loved her no matter how strange she was. She had an older brother and sister too. They lived in the dirty crowded city and had very little money. One night, when Tiger Ann was only five or so, someone broke into their house, murdering her mother and her two older siblings. She was shot, but survived. (this is why she has a lot more seizures and is sensitive to light and sound). By the time the cops came it was too late. She was left in her fathers care. And because she was so autistic and epileptic and weird, he beat her constantly until she couldn't move, even lighting her on fire once or twice. She screamed and screamed, but no one heard her. She lived with him for six year, until she was 10. After she witnessed him beat and rob people, he dropped her off he beat her and left her to die. She was found and and rushed to the ER, were she live the next year of her life in solitude and doctors studying her. A year later she was sent to an insane asylum for her own good, but the place could not handle her, so she was sent to the only place willing to take her...and that is how she ended up here.

Personality: Cold most of the time and likes to irritate people.
History: When he was little, it was already known that he was different. Already at the age of 2, he could draw and write on walls, he often did this with his own blood. He always drew bloody, dead people or wrote something about death. One night, when he was 5, he heard that his parents was talking about him and heard them say that they hated him. They had been scared of him and hated him the whole time from when he was born. He got angry when he heard it and killed them when they were asleep. He was found one year later in the house with blood all over him and the bodies of his parents where nowhere to be found. He had been eating them to survive since he was locked inside his own house. The one that found him was a man that liked him as he was and he had a son that was in the same age as Zex. They were really happy together until an old friend to Zex's parents came to kill him and the one that had taken care of him. They all got killed, even the boy that Zex had been such good friends with. Nothing more is known than that Zex survived and the whole house had been covered with the blood from the friend to his parents. The police were called from the screams, and he ended up being captured and brought here.
