CHARACTERS + PLOT

Name: He has no real name but goes by the Sanskrit language as Anil (Of the Wind) and/or Hari (He who removes evil)
Gender: Male
Age: 700
Pokemon Description: Suicune
Human Description: Anil has long, flowing purple hair that is entwined with two flat strips of ribbon that (unbeknownst to anybody) is actually his tail. The front bangs jut up from his forehead, being short, and are teal blue. He has clear blue eyes, like purified water. He's about as tall as Suicune would be if it stood as tall as it could on its hind legs and he weighs the same as well.
Pokemon Attributes: This beastie is very light on his feet; he would have to be in order to leap on water as he does. He can transform into his human form at will unless he is very weak. He embodies the compassion of a spring, so as he travels, he seeks out pure reservoirs of water, and using his power, he instantly purifies dirty, muddy, or otherwise polluted water into the clearest of liquids by simply stepping onto it. Although he has no memory of the incident inside the Brass Tower, he has a kinship with Raikou and Entei. Also known as 'The Spirit of the Northern Winds'.
Human Attributes: As in his beast form he is very agile and light on his feet. The wind seems to follow him wherever he goes. He is a very patient person, and tends to be rather quiet. A smile is a rare sight on his face but by looking into his clear eyes you can just tell when he is happy. As with his Pokemon form, he is rather shy towards humans due to the Brass Tower. Something happened in there that makes him a bit cautious around them. However, he can sense a good heart and a good soul and will appear to those who need him most. He is an great swimmer and his teeth are a little more canine than human. He can use his purifying powers in his human form.
Personality: He is a very patient being and tends to be rather quiet. A smile is a rare sight on his face but by looking into his clear eyes you can just tell when he is happy. He is rather shy towards humans due to the happening at Brass Tower; something happened in there that has made him a bit cautious around them, although he can't remember what. However, he can sense a good heart and a good soul and will appear to those who need him most. He thinks before he speaks.
Other: Although it is forbidden for a Legendary to fall in love and mate with a human, Suicune could not help falling for the beautiful gaze of Masumi (true purity). For a pokemon who spends as little time as a human /with/ the humans, it was a rare thing for him to chance by her in the woods near the lake he was living at at the time. They fell in love and she became one of the only people who could make him smile and laugh. Together they had one child who they named Takara (treasure). The full story on how he and his wife met is a mystery. He helped raise raise his daughter, often having her ride on his back and snuggle with him in his pokemon form, but when she came to be three years old he had to leave. Being 'part of the wind', and the wind always having to travel, he had the greatest urge to leave. He said goodbye to wife and daughter, leaving Takara with a small necklace with a vial of purified water in it. He added his own magic to the liquid, making it so that if she drank it it would heal her of any sickness.

Name: Daiki (Of Great Value)
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Description:Me. :3
Personality: Daiki is quiet yet obedient to all that his father asks of him. He is against what his father is doing but knows there is no way to stop him. He's kind, honest, and loving, though he has a tendency to be /too/ quiet. When he's around those he feels comfortable with he can be much more open. He's a smart one, just like his papa. ;D
Information: Daiki sneaks into the holding cells whenever he can to visit the legendary pokemon that have been captured. He brings them extra food and other assortments. He is his father's second lieutenant and thus has special privileges, however his father looks at him with no more respect than the family Meowth, Teather.
Other: Daiki has befriended the family pokemon, Teather. Together they are trying to work out a plan to free the Legendary pokemon and free his father from the madness that has currently taken him over. And he's currently single if you're interested, ladies. ;D

Name: Masaru (Intelligent; Victorious)
Gender: Male
Age: 36
Description: Ph3@r m3. >3
Personality: Masaru never used to be the evil man he is today. It was just a month ago that he was a somewhat loving father and husband. Sure he was not perfect and was still really stuck up and a bit disrespectful, but you have to give a rich guy credit! A man who has money coming out of his fingertips and owns his own techno-team /has/ to be a little snoody. While he has all his workers do the work, he simply sits back in his throne and orders people around. He's very intelligent and is the crafter of all the machines in his lab. He's smarter than everyone who works for him but he just doesn't bother putting energy into using it anymore.
Information: The first time he heard about the discovery of the legendaries and their amazing power he wanted it for himself. He's been spoiled since he was a kid and always got what he wanted, so why not now? He went around and managed to capture Entei, Articuno, and Ho oh. His scientists and himself worked out a way to use some of their power and transfer it to him. (This is in very minor detail. xD)
Other: This is the first time anyone has ever attempted such a thing so there have been no notes to look back on for warnings. There was a slight side-effect to his transferring power to himself and he is now unable to control it. He's going mad, basically. The strength he feels overwhelms him and it has the effect of a drug. He can't get enough. So now he's out to capture all the legendaries and do who knows what with them. He has a plan, it just hasn't been revealed to anybody yet. He has become paranoid and is suspicious of everyone, especially his son who he knows sneaks in to speak to the Legendaries all the time. He thinks everyone is out to get him, which they probably are and he's capable of anything at this point; even murder. Right now, with his new-found power, he has incredible senses and his eyes have turned red.

Name: Takara [Treasure]
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Description: Moi. x]
Personality: Takara has a very outgoing, loud personality. Although, she does know when to keep her trap shut when the time comes. She knows when to obey, after living in an orphanage until she turned eighteen since her mother died when she turned thirteen. When she got kicked out of the orphanage, she found a job; it takes up much of her time, and she seems overwhelmed these days. It is hard for her not to be in a bad mood in the present times. Her friends from the orphanage are long gone, having been adopted by other families; of course, she always knew she wasn't 'good enough', as the woman that was the head-honcho of the place reminded her frequently. She made sure that Takara knew of that by reminding her constantly, making her work more than the other girls, etc. Not that she cared; she knew she would get out as soon as she could anyway. In these days, she has been trying to decide whether to pick out a Poke'mon. Her life has been somewhat of a struggle lately, and she has been looking for some sort of a sign to find her a way out of this crazy cycle of her life.
Information: Takara works as a marketer at the local bike shop. Sure, she likes her co-workers. But, no; she does not like her boss. Her boss is a man whom the workers joke around, calling him, "moneybags." They all hate him. And, of course, the boss treats Takara the worst; discrimination against a "woman" for working a male job, she assumes, as everybody else does. All of the guys there consider her like a sister, and she considers them to be basically brothers to her. Her "brothers" back her up. No matter how short of time span she has known them; make that probably nine months; they are pretty close, and she can basically tell them anything. -cough- Anyway. She despises her apartment for a few reasons; a couple of them being she always has to go home to be with no one, and feels lonely, basically [if that sounds wrong... I totally didn't mean for it to come out that way. x/] and another is how damaged, and nasty it looks; and cheap, by the way. She has dreams of a blurry, what she thinks, Poke'mon. It makes her confused; the fact that it is almost a repeating dream. Takara also likes the guitar; acoustic and electric. Her mother bought those for her when she was a kid, and she managed to keep them somehow at the orphanage without the hag that worked there throwing them away. She played the two guitars whenever she felt like noise was required in the lonely apartment, and the music made her feel like there was... "company" for some reason. She has strange birthmarks around her body as well. By the way, single, gentleman. :3

Dislikes:

Other Lengendaries that might show up some time in the role play

Mew = Anand (Joyful) + Vimal (Pure) - (By nature, Mew is known to be a playful and kind Pokémon. Its DNA is said to possess the genetic composition of all existing Pokémon species, thus allowing it to use all known Pokémon techniques. Since Mew, like Ditto, contains the genetic composition that is found in every species of Pokémon, Mew has the ability to transform into any Pokémon at will. Unlike Ditto, however, Mew does not need to see the Pokémon in order to transform into it.)

Moltres = Ravi (Of the sun) FEMALE - (She is a large bird that is literally ablaze with fire, resembling something related to a phoenix. She has an orange body, a small pointed beak, and where her plumage should be are flames of a searing intensity. She can freely create and manipulate fire, and she constantly looses flaming embers from her wings. When her body is injured for any reason, she will head towards a volcano and dip her body in the molten magma to heal her wounds. Moltres is an elusive creature, seen about as rarely as the other two members of the winged mirage triad. When Moltres thinks she is in the least bit possible danger, she will summon a flash of fire and seemingly disappear, flying out of sight very fast.)

Zapdos = Prasad (Brightness) MALE - (Zapdos, a creature that can freely manipulate electricity, is thought to live in thunderclouds, where he apparently only gains power when struck by lightning. He is seen emerging from clouds while dropping enormous lightning bolts, and even if he does not launch electricity his wings make peculiar crackling and snapping sounds as he flies.)

Ho oh= Hari (He who removes evil) or Prem (Love) MALE -(He is called the Rainbow Pokémon due to his various associations with rainbows. His feathers constantly change through the rainbow's spectrum of colors as light hits them from different angles. These leave a rainbow trail as he flies continuously through the world's skies, though he is said to live at the foot of a rainbow. He is said to appear before pure-hearted trainers as the representative of the bonds between humans and Pokemon, and bring happiness to all that see him.)

Rayquaza = Indra (God of the atmosphere and sky) MALE - (Rayquaza resides within the ozone layer of the Earth and has lived there for hundreds of millions of years without ever descending. To those who have observed Rayquaza from the surface of the planet, Rayquaza has always appeared to be a zooming meteor. Rayquaza feeds on water and particles in the Earth's atmosphere. He is said to only descend from the ozone layer if Kyogre and Groudon were to fight, in order to end the feud and maintain the balance of nature.)

Lugia = Nammu (Goddess of the Sea) FEMALE - (Lugia, thought to be the guardian of the sea, resides deep in the ocean floor. She spends most of her time at the bottom of the sea due her tremendous power, which includes being able to topple houses just by flapping her wings and the ability to start storms that last for about forty days. She is only seen at the start of storms, and she often uses her abilities to calm them.)

Articuno = Shiva (Goddess of Ice and Snow) FEMALE - (She can create and manipulate ice freely. Her translucent wings are imbued with the essence of frigidity, and the flapping of her wings chills the air, causing the conversion of water particles in the air into snow or ice, causing snow to fall when she flies overhead. In legend, Articuno resides within the confines of icy mountains, because those who have seen her were often doomed explorers scaling such mountains, and therefore it is believed Articuno makes it a point to appear before them and save them.)

Entei = Vishnu (The Protector) MALE - (Entei is an embodiment of magma, being able to launch powerfully searing, fire that is hotter than magma from his mouth. This fire consumes everything that it touches. When he roars, volcanos around him are apparently triggered to erupt. Due to being unable to fully control his own power, he constantly sprints around the world.)

Raiku = Deepak (Like a lamp or light. ) - (Like many Electric-type Pokémon, Raikou stores tremendous energy inside his body. This grants him extraordinary vitality, allowing him to run continuously across the land while shooting off electricity from the rain cloud that is on his back. Raikou's roar is aptly described as "thunderous": it is loud enough to create shock waves and shake the ground as if actual thunder had struck.)

Things one should know:

According to legend, the Legendary Beasts were reincarnated by Ho-Oh from the spirits of three Pokémon which died in the fire that gave Burnt Tower its name

A disheveled man was running as quickly as he could toward a set destination in his mind. He was hunched over slightly and clutching at both his bleeding arm and his heaving chest. It was obvious that he had just been in some sort of fight and that the battle had weakened him terribly; his breathing was ragged and hoarse; his clear blue eyes wild and fierce with fear, anger, and determination. He had a slight limp in his stride but it was not slowing him down.

The man took no notice of those whom he passed, pushing his way through the crowds of people as if they were simply not there. Those watching him with mild curiosity noticed how light his steps were, as if he were barely even touching base with the ground beneath. He was rather fast for any grown person, appearing to ride on the wind and air. Even his hair appeared to have a wind of its own, blowing constantly behind his head in impossible directions. He didn't even come to a stop when the large protective gate leading into the apartment villa loomed ahead. As if gravity had no effect on him he took to the air and leaped over it with incredible ease. It had not even slowed him down by a second.

This unfaltering man with a quest only came to a stop when he reach the apartment complex with the large number '245' on it's side.

'Come on Anil. . Not much longer now until you can rest. . .' the small voice in the back of his head told him. He always knew he was overexerted when he spoke to himself in his head in third person. He took a deep breath, which hurt quite a lot since he felt like his chest was already on fire, and walked up to the door, putting his trembling hand on the doorknob. . . .

If he remembered his daughter correctly, after having watched over her in secret these past several years, then the door /should/ be. . .

He gave it a twist and a push and was instantly rewarded with its opening for him. Anil almost collapsed with relief and quickly came inside, slamming the door behind him. At that very moment he fell to the floor and let go of the transformation that he had on himself. He had arrived just in time.

The blue pokemon, still gasping for breath, limped his way into the tiny living room and made himself comfortable on the marooned two-person love seat. It was a painful process, just as the leap over the security gate to the apartments had been. Images of the current past events kept playing through his head and made him restless, panic striking him with every breath. He gave a small muted growl and closed his eyes, hoping to block out the effigy, but only managed to immediately fall into a dreamless sleep of darkness.

. . .

Masaru was furious. It was the first time that this had happened and he did not know how to deal with it. He grabbed another chair and chucked it ferociously at the steel wall in front of him. It hit with such force that the wooden seat shattered into hundreds of little splinters which shot about the room like razor bullets and joined the other bits of wood from the chair he had previously thrown.

Suicune had eluded him. The spirit of the northern winds. Such a unique power that legendary pokemon had and /he/, Masaru, wanted it. He had been lusting after it for days before finally setting his troops to the task of finding and capturing the blasted beast. The news of Raiku's intervention and acquirement had been entirely surprising. Neither of the other legendary pokemon he had already captured had had any aid by other pokemon, let alone other /legendary/ pokemon.

"I want you to find him again," Masaru growled through clenched teeth, rage seething and practically pouring out of his skin. He was addressing the cowering men before him, each practically sniveling on his shoes. It was sickening. They were weak. "Millions of dollars went into that machine that I made /especially/ for Suicune. Now it's wasted. WASTED. All that money gone because you couldn't keep your eyes on the bigger prize! You must make an exact replica of the machine I made and try again. SUCCEED THIS TIME. And I don't care that you don't have blueprints from my last machine. I didn't make any. This is what you get for not paying attention. I want the machine ready in three days and no more. If it's not done by then. . ." He grinned, revealing his newly adjusted teeth, each sharper than they had been before. "You know what will happen."

Each groveling man nodded and muttered thanks for the sparing of their lives, also offering apologies for their mistake. They knew there would be serious trouble if they messed up again.

"And while you're at it," Masaru added, "generate Raiku. That will make a nice addition to my already growing power. And get someone in here to pick up this mess!" He gestured at the splinters of wood all over the room.

When the men left, some going to fetch someone to pick up the chair mess, Masaru sat agitatedly down on one of the wooden chairs that he had not yet thrown. A terrible headache was coming on and caused him to rubbed his head vigorously with his two index fingers. Seconds passed with nothing happening before the door finally creaked open again.

"Father?"

A white haired teen poked his head in, looking around and fixing his gaze on Masaru, who did not respond. When it appeared to the boy that it was safe to come in, he stepped inside and closed the door behind him, a Meowth stepping in alongside him. In the boy's hands he held a broom and a dustpan. With a deep and bored sigh the boy spoke.

"Zach and Porter sent me in to sweep up," he said, rolling his eyes. And without saying another word he began to do just that.

Masaru, who had noticed his son come in, had not made any acknowledgment of it. He glared at him from the corner of his eyes and said nothing, watching as the boy swept up the wood with a bored look on his face. Masaru's men were always picking on the boy and making him do things that they should instead be doing but the man never complained about this. It was good to keep his son in line. He knew what he was up to and did whatever he could to prevent him from doing so.

"Bye, Kenji!" A young woman called out to one of her co-workers. She gave her a wave, and hopped on her bike. The small male Shinx, whom the young woman, called by "Takara," had named the pokemon "Katsu" for a nickname. A young male jokingly 'skipped' over to Takara, and smirked. "See you, Takara." He bent down and ruffled the Shinx's fur. "See ya later, Ka- Dangit!" The pokemon had snapped at him, and left a small bite mark on his thumb. Kenji's eye twitched. "Dang pok-" Kenji started, but Katsu hissed at him, bringing out his claws; almost daring him to say something more.

Takara gave out a simple laugh, and got off her bike quickly, giving Kenji a playful punch in the shoulder. "You know he doesn't like you." She joked. "I do actually try to get that ferocious thing to like me." Takara rolled her eyes, and placed Katsu in a basket attached to her bike. The small pokemon looked maliciously at Kenji. He looked over at Takara. "See!" He pointed over to Katsu. "See! Katsu hates me." He huffed. "Yes, maybe he does. It'll just get some taking used to. He still isn't used to you, or any of the others." Takara told him 'matter-of-factly.

Kenji crossed his arms, stuck his nose up in the air, and gave a long sigh. "Well, then. Aren't we just little miss know-it-all!" Takara frowned. "If you're going to be like that, then I'll leave." Not a good way to end my work day, Kenji. Not a good way. Kenji always had a way of pissing her off at the end of the day. Yeah, he was 'like' one of her brothers. But, of course, he knew how to get on her last nerve. "Well, I thought you were going to leave anyways. Your shift is done." Takara rolled her eyes, made sure Katsu was in the basket, and hopped on the bike again.

Takara made sure everything was straightened out; fitted hoodie zipped, jeans straightened out, shoes tied, and backpack adjusted alright. She turned to him after a couple of moments, asking him plainly if he had anything else to say before she took her leave with Katsu in the basket. "Movie night with all the guys at your place?" He asked weakly. She rolled her eyes. "Not tonight. I just got my carpet cleaned, anyways. The pop you and Naoki spilled while trying to shoot the pop bottle tops across the room didn't help my carpet out any." She sighed. "Bye." She unchained her bike, gave a small wave, as did he, and set off.

It was a relief that Takara's apartment was close enough to the bike shop. She headed up the stairs, making sure not to disturb the nasty old "hag" next door. She opened the door, and turned to her pokemon. "Home sweet home." She said sarcastically; obviously too loudly. "Quiet down out there!" She heard a shrieking old lady shout from next door. Takara rolled her eyes.

"Will do." She muttered, again sarcastically, from gritted teeth, walking in, not noticing the blood on the carpet. She turned around, and saw Katsu staring down, at what may be the carpet. Of course, she hadn't even gave the time of day to look at the lovely new carpet except for how she had admired it a couple of days ago. The pokemon looked to her, walked into the apartment cautiously, and then she looked at the carpet. Her eyes widened. "Katsu, go back outside." The pokemon wouldn't obey.

"NOW." She told him, looking down at him warningly. It seemed to almost frown as it slumped outside. She made sure the door was closed tightly as she ran over to the kitchen, and grabbed one of the sharpest, biggest knives. She was shaking slightly. What do I do... Do I yell, 'Who's there?!', like they do in movies? That's only in movies, right? Or do I stay here? I can handle this. Really.

She looked on the couch, still holding a knife. She let out a little noise of fright; not really one that she could describe as she clapped her hand over her mouth. What the heck was a legendary pokemon doing in her living room? Honestly, this was creepy; and she knew she wasn't seeing things. She couldn't help but stare blankly at the pokemon as she drew nearer to it; it looked so much like the one in her dreams. Takara had heard rumours about these sort of creatures; they could talk to certain people... without the pokemon language in general. The human language. She looked at the pokemons wounds, and frowned.
PostPosted: Tue Mar 25, 2008 1:40 pm

The sound of the door opening immediately awakened Suicune and he slowly opened his eyes. His head was pounding and all the minuscule bruises on his body that he had not noticed before were now screaming in protest of his movement but he rose to sit on his haunches anyway. He held his left paw up in a limp fashion, since it hurt too badly to put pressure on, and continued to pant. With injuries like these, it would take a while for him to heal completely enough to go back into his human form.

Unlike Lugia and Entei, Anil could not telepathically speak to people but he knew that his daughter would understand him when he spoke anyways.

"Takara," he said, sounding calm and relaxed. It was all he could say, really. He hadn't ever really faced his daughter before. It had been so long ago since he had held her; sung to her; let her nestle deep within his fur. He felt slightly ashamed and embarrassed, having come to her after all these years of her thinking he had walked out on her and her mother. Of course, Masumi had told her stories about how great he was, but he could not excuse himself for running away.

He gazed into her eyes for a long moment before glancing at the tightly shut door door. "You don't have to keep your pokemon outside. I'm not going to hurt it."

Takara's eyes widened. Not again. Why do I have to be the freak? I am such a schizo. She thought to herself, and bit her lip. She placed the knife down on the kitchen counter, and headed over to the apartment door. Opening it, the Shinx sprinted inside, arching his back. She threw a worried glance at her pokemon, telling it to behave, and not to hurt this pokemon... who, of course she didn't know, was her father. There was something different about this creature.

Katsu frowned slightly, and went to go lay on the chair, watching them gloomily. He was always grouchy about an hour or so after her work shift. He closed his eyes, beginning to sleep. Takara looked back over at the Suicune, and made a confused face. "There is a local Pokemon Center." She said to the pokemon; of course, she was completely oblivious to the fact that he couldn't be taken anywhere outside this apartment, not knowing anything about Masaru at all.

Takara felt the delicate chain around her neck, that held the small vile of purified water given to her by her real father. She could almost feel it turning cold against her skin. Now she felt very rabbled. Not that she wasn't confused already.

Anil stared at the girl, baffled by her lack of sensibility. Could she really be that careless? He shifted his legs to get into a more comfortable position and then flipped his tail behind him.

"Takara. I am not the sort of pokemon who could just walk into a pokemon center and ask for help. Besides. I heal faster than normal pokemon. I should be fine. I just need my rest. Are you not curious as to why I am in your apartment of all places? The legendary Suicune?"

"I wasn't saying that you would walk right in there... I was just saying I could call you back into a poke'ball. But- nevermind." Takara sighed slightly, closing her eyes. She shook her head, and looking down. She really was insane. Talking to a pokemon. If anybody knew that she thought, or she knew she could do that... she wouldn't even want to think about it.

After a few moments she opened her eyes, and looked back up at him. She folded her arms across her stomach. "And, yes. I am very curious. And, honestly..." She looked at the blood on the carpet, and frowned. "Not too happy about the blood you shed on the carpet." She looked back up at the pokemon. "Anyways, yes. I would like to know the reason."
PostPosted: Tue Apr 08, 2008 12:19 pm

Anil sighed. Apparently it had been too long since he had last made contact with his daughter. She had a lot to learn on how to treat her elders. He had expected her to come running to him, appalled at what damage had been done. Instead she thought of him as a nuisance, dripping blood on worldly carpet. With a slight grunt of pain he rose to his feet, looking as regal as ever, the pain only noticeable in his eyes.

"I am here..." he said, taking a deep breath to emphasize the moment. "Because I need your help in defeating a great evil." Now was not the best time to bring up her heritage, since it would probably only make the situation a bit more confusing and frustrating than it already was. The proper time would come.

He stared straight into her eyes, his hair and tail flapping in the invisible breeze that always followed him around.

Takara didn't exactly think him as a nuissance... it was more of the fact she was tired of people coming to her with things for her to do, and now a legendary pokemon out of the blue comes needing her help to defeat 'a great evil'? "Why do you need my help?" She asked suspiciously, taking a step back.

Takara paused looking around. She finally turned back to him, and took a deep breath. "Why me?" She asked, a tone in her voice that told him that she wanted to know, and if she didn't get answers... well... she would come to that bridge when she crossed it.
