In Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (or just Joker) you play an unnamed hero (anti-hero) who's father is the head of an organization. You are sent on a mission to infiltrate the big scouting competition. To succeed in this you will need to "scout" new monsters by having your current party of monsters impress the monster. On the second island you must saving a talking monster who you had encountered earlier. You then find out that this monster must go to different shrines on other islands to transform and prevent what it calls the great "catastrophe". This game is a more advanced version of the pokemon games that is for like Final Fantasy then pokemon except for the scouting.. In terms of gameplay it is fun when you can accomplish the shrines by grinding. Also when your monsters hit level 10 you can sachronize them with other monsters to create more powerful monsters.

At current time I give this a 8/10
