Please do not post in this thread. As I come up with it, I will be adding new, detailed background information via new posts. As this is an original character concept, please do not steal either the soul nor the guardian's concepts. They've been brewing in my head for a while and I may or may not end up using them for various projects later.

Name: Niamh Muirrean
Gender: Female
Personality: Her personality reminds people of the ocean. Usually calm and easy going, but once you get her angry, her fury is such that it makes people tremble. (Or at least stare at her in surprise and shock.) Easy to smile or laugh, she likes to reserve her words for the times that they're needed. Preferring instead for simple gestures or to sit silently with someone for hours on end, merely enjoying their company. Niamh does have a playful side, no matter how rare its shown in an obvious manner. Very independent and strong willed, Niamh does her best not to allow her blindness become a handicap.
How guardian and soul get along: Niamh acts as a calming current for Sin, slowly washing away his fears and worries. He, in return, acts as her guardian. Helping her take care of herself and guiding her on errands when she can't help herself or Eremon is unable to assist her. Niamh reminds Sin of Aria, the sister he couldn't save, and so he works fervently to ensure that Niamh has everything she needs and is happy. Something that irks her and makes her feel as if Sin treats her like an invalid - a trait that annoys her in other people. Though she's blind, she has never appreciated being treated like she was different or handicapped.

Soul
Name: Sinlen
Gender: Male
Type of Soul: Elf
Age: 24-ish in appearance
Personality: Quiet, reserved, and very protective of the few things he cares about. Once known as the Ice Advisor, Sinlen is learning how to let his emotions show and learning what it is to live for himself.
Past Life: The short version goes thusly - Sinlen was once advisor to King Daemon. When Daemon was young, Sinlen introduced him to his bright eyed sister, Aria. A decision he regretted to the end of his long life. Aria made a promise to become the king's guard if Daemon became king - so when he did, she began the path to becoming his guard. When Daemon realized he still loved Aria, but that it could never be, he began to plot against her. Rather than torture himself with her in his reach every day but not getting to have her - he decided to eliminate the problem by eliminating Aria. When she returned a hero, he had her burned for high treason. The townspeople hated him for that decision, and he soon went crazy. Unable to save his sister or his king, Sinlen slowly became a recluse after Daemon committed suicide. Though the townspeople wanted him to be king, having advised Daemon for years and brought the kingdom into a time of peace and prosperity, he refused and went off into the forest to live alone. They had loved him, even if he did not love himself. Eventually unwilling to eat or move, he withered away into nothingness, finally embracing the sweet nothingness of death.
Hair: To his shoulders, black. He has feathered bangs, but keeps them pulled to either side of his face. His hair is nice and straight.
Eyes: Hazel
Appearance: Clean and well kept. He always looks calm, but his eyes seem far away, as if he sees something in the distance we can't see. He is tall at 6'2" and has the lithely muscled body of an elf. A very light tan graces his skin, from his time outdoors in the forest.
Clothing: The majority of the outfits the Court made him wear were despised by Sinlen. They were all gaudy and ridiculously shiny. One outfit they let him pick out on his own, was simple and graceful. Perfect for an elf. A simple silver moonstone circlet over his brow, with a simple black silk tunic. Silver designs embroidered onto the sleeves and around the neckline of the shirt. Black leggings adorn his legs bearing similar designs to the sleeves of his tunic up the side of each leg. Black suede boots complete the outfit, with boot knives sticking out the top.
Other Details:
Picture References: This avatar tektek was as close as I could find for the general appearance. However, his jacket does not have ruffles, or gold coloring on it. It should be silver. The pants are close, but need the silver designs going up the legs...Also. The boots should be more suede-like, and have the boot knives in them. Ah, his hair should also be so black its got blue highlights to it, and down to his shoulders, with feathery bangs. This hairstyle was just the closest I could find.
For the designs on his jacket, I think a basic celtic knot would then follow the edges of the coat's material at the seams, rather than down his arms.
For the design on his pants - the same basic celtic knot on the coat seams, on the sides of each leg, running down its length, I think.
I'd like the moonstone on his circlet to be a blue moonstone and pear-shaped. Much like the second piece of moonstone jewelry on the page I linked out.
For the circlet's design, I think just another simple celtic design would be great. I know there are a lot of them, but I honestly can't think of anything specific. So...artistic freedom?

Note: Aside from the circlet, the rest of the celtic knots are not necessary.
