The sun slowly crept up into the morning sky, and shined a ray a light down on the Aburame complex. This light penetrated Shino's window, and reflected off his sunglasses as it hit his face. Sleeping with them on had become a way for Shino to beat the morning sunlight since he was a kid, maybe even letting him catch a few more "Z"s while he was at it. But it didn't take long before his insect friends grew impatient. One beetle crawled out from a hole on Shino's arm, and flew up to his ear. The tiny creature beat its wings and made an incesive vibration in Shino's ear.
Shino eased out of bed and pushed his sunglasses back up with his index finger. He took his jacket off a hook near the bed and threw it over his shoulders. He buttoned up the neckband, and tied his forehead protector around his head. He made sure he had everything he needed before leaving the house and slowly making his way out of the complex.
