Hinata was walking from the main branch home, She had to get away from her family. Tears were running down her face due to what her father had said to her. She said to head around town.

(first time I do Neji also. ^^;; Lets give it our best, neh?)
Neji walked down a silent street only lit by streetlights, his hands stuffed in his pockets. He continued to walk slowly seemingly lost in thought. Stopping momentarily, he looked up at the partly cloudy sky and sighed. "Damn main branch." he cursed under his breath and resumed walking.
(er....thought I'd set the setting some? >.>;; anyways, hope I don't go too OOC with this. but, just gotta wait and see how it turns out I guess. ^^;; heh)

Sakura was walking down the street and noticed Neji there as well. "Neji, what are you doing here?"

Hearing his name, Neji looks up and spots Sakura. His brow furrows in what would be considered slight annoyance. "I could ask you the same question. Besides, a girl like you shouldn't be wondering around after dark. Isn't your mother worried about you?" He smirked slightly.

Hinata saw Sakura up ahead but didn't see Neji due to Sakura blocking him from her line of sight. She neared her as she saw someone talking to her, she cursed her curiosity mentally.

Neji continued staring at Sakura and held his amused smirk. Suddenly, he heard a faint sound coming from somewhere in the distance beyond the pink-haired kunoichi. 'I wonder who else would be out at this time of night? hmm....whoever it is, they are don't a poor job of sneaking around.' he thought to himself. Neji allowed his eyes to flicker over Sakura's shoulder for a second and saw a figure amongst the shadows. His eyes narrowed slightly before looking back towards the Haruno girl.

Neji's eyes narrowed as Sakura ignored him and began walking away. He debated mentally to follow after her but decided against it for the moment. Instead, he began looking towards the shadow he saw earlier trying to identify the lurker.
