Located near the village gate, this noodle bar is the favorite spot of many a ninja. It was actually commended by the Sixth Hokage himself, as he used to come here much as a child. They have almost every kind of ramen you can imagine, from pork and beef flavor, to the deluxe house special (miso optional).

Rin plopped down in her seat. The journey from Suna was tiring and made her hungry. Since she was in a rush, she had forgotten to eat, and was now starving. "Hey can I get some beef ramen," she screamed. Considering how early it was, the ramen shop was packed. While she waited, Rin put her head down and dozed off.

"Well here's a surprise!" Naruto walked in seeing Rin and joselled her away. He called to the chef, "Miso pork!" then went back to her, "So Rin, you's Suna's resident psyco treating ya?"

Rin rolled her eyes at the enthusiastic nature of the Hokage. Only Naruto could be that enthusiastic at his age. She purposely ignored her brain telling her that she was only a few years younger than him. "Hokage-Sama, please refrain from calling Gaara 'Suna's resident psyco'. We both hate it. And he's treating me fine, as usual." Her order was placed in front of her and she slowly began eating. "Anyway, shouldn't you be working? And hasn't anyone told you to lay off the ramen? Eating too much of this stuff is bad for you."

Rin just shook her head. Thats Nartuto for ya, she thought. "At times I feel sorry for Hinata. After all she is married to you." She gave him a teasing grin. "Neji must have wanted to kill you for even looking at his innocent cousin."

"Neji Has tried to kill me before! In fact I think he might have poisoned my sake at the reseption. Good thing Kakashi knocked it over dancing. Desolved the carpet. Imagin what it would have done to me!" he paused and smiled, "And besides...Hinata isn't as inocent as you'd think. Having one of the best konichi in the village as a tutor helped her in more ways than one." he said with an evil little giggle. He had really spent too much time around Jiraya. Still, at least he was better off then Konohamaru.

Rin spit out her ramen. "Oh god!" She gave a tortured moan. "I really didn't wanna know that. And I really didn't expect anything less from Neji. He was quite protective of Hinata..." She paused. "Well at least he was after his battle with you durring the chunnin exams."

"Yep. Before that he was just a d***." luckily for her his ramen arrived to shut his mouth from further disturbing coments...at least for a few minuets.

Rin laughed. "Yes, well, everybody knew how you felt about his blabbing on about fate and all that stuff." Personally she agreed with Naruto. Fate didn't rule who you are. You could always change your fate. She shook her head, remembering what Naruto was like back then. "You always had a a flair for dramatics back then. Even more than Gai-sensei or Lee."

He lloked up from his now empty bowl and called for a barbeque one. "So what are you doing here anyways? It's a long trip here from Suna."

Rin shrugged. "Nothin' much. I was just really bored, what with Gaara busy all day. Decided that I wanted to visit some old friends. After all I'm aloud in Konoha 24/7." She grinned at him. So whats Konoha been like with put all of the famous rookies causin' trouble and getting the village into wars." Her grin grew.
Before he could answer, one of Rin's nin-cats showed up carrying a message for her. She quickly scanned through it and jumped up. A look of seriousness crassed her face and her posture radiated anger. "Excuse me Naruto. Duty calls." With that said she payed her bill and ran off.

"What was that all about?" Naruto thought aloud. He knew she was bussy, but she ran off with barly a good bye and, what's more, left him with the bill. He sighed as he took out his wallet. Being Hokage didn't pay all that much.(Exits to Hokage's Office)

[Enters Konohagakure] Phoenix walks into Konoha with the look at how nice it was compared to the beautiful Kagegakure. He says, "wow this is a pretty nice place." Walks into a ramen shop and sits down. Phoenix says "Hey, is the ramen good here." The waiter turns around and see's me. Waiter says, "Yes even the Hokage has come here from time to time." Phoenix say, "I see. Then a Beef set if you will." He says, "Coming right up." Starts to wait for food.

Phoenix gets his bowl of ramen and starts eating. He finishes and looks to see that the waiter wasn't looking in his direction. Hehehe he whispered as he disappeared into black mist. I Reappear on a building across the way from the ramen shop and the shop owner is pissed. Phoenix says, "Well that was fun. Where should i go next. Well, i'll get there when i think of a place to go." [exit ramen Shop]
