It's simply a logical question that involves thinking in a completely abstract way oO
"If 1=2 and 3=2 then what does 2 equal, if 1=3?"
So here we see that "1=2" and "3=2"
By the first statement we've already established that both 1 and 3 equal 2.
Therefore 1=2=3, they all equal the same thing.
He asks what does 2 equal if 1=3.
So you've already confirmed that 1 and 3 equals 2. If they both equal the same thing, then 1=3 was a given.
2 still equals 2 in this case, it makes the equation match.
1 = 2
3 = 2
1 = 3
Therefore:
2 = 2
So that's why I say what I say -serious nod-
