Yes, that's right. Tomorrow (tonight, really...) Morgan is leaving for Honduras. Hence the special spiffy sig image. I'm going to Yuscaran (there's an accent over the second "a," but I don't wanna go through the trouble of putting it there), a small town about an hour south of the capital, Tegucigalpa.
My plane leaves tomorrow at 6 AM, which means I have to be at Dulles at frikkin' 4 in the morning. We switch planes in Miami a few hours later, then it's straight (hopefully) to Tegucigalpa. We're going to do a few evangelism projects with the youth group there, including a youth retreat (I'm going on a trip...on a trip) and a "soccer outreach." Basically, we play soccer, suck in the local kids, and then invite them to youth group. I won't actually be playing soccer, seeing as the only thing I can kick is someone's shin or kneecap, and the side of my sister's head. The last day is nothing but "recreational therapy..." Abram and Ebeth's way of saying "we're going into the city and shopping while the three guys go hide somewhere." I'm gonna do what I did at the church King's Dominion trip and search for an arcade. Then I come back on the 25th. Woo! Plane gets in at 10:30, at which point I come home and sleep.
So yeah...if you're a Christian, prayer would be nice. For our leaders, Abram and Ebeth (both of whom will be seperated from their spouses for the entire trip, because Ebeth's husband doesn't work for the church, and Abram's wife couldn't come...and he's under oath not to whine about it), for the youth group we're going to visit, and for our group. Especially the 3 guys stuck with about 10 girls. Very energetic girls, and very secluded guys. It should be interesting. If you're not a Christian, see my sig line.
So peace out, yo. When I get back, this thread better be hoppin'.
