I am going to post the colors to use, if you want to use a tried and true system to marking your scriptures.
Honestly, at the end of my mission, missionaries would go on splits with me just so they could try to learn my system. I do not take glory in this, but I give the glory to the Holy Ghost (God) who taught me constantly during my mission.

OK, Here are the colors you should use for ALL your scriptures. If we ALL use the same ones, not only will it make it easier for us to communicate, it will make it MUCH easier for you on your mission. If you already have some scriptures marken in other coolors and you HAVE to use those, well, let's just make the best of it.
* See if you can get some for Christmas, and then you can switch them all over the correct way. Also remember to ask me which style is best. DON'T GET A QUAD if at all possible.
Anyway, here we go...
Red = Missionary
Green = Favorites
Blue = Drake
Purple = JST (Joseph Smith Translation) (These are in the footnotes)
Orange = Hebrew/Greek/IE (These are all in footnotes)
Yellow = Footnote

Question: What happends when scriptures clash with each other?
Ex: A Missionary scriptrue is also a Drake scripture. Or a Favorite scripture is a Missionary or Drake scripture.

That is an excellent question, and that definitely will happen.
So far, all of the scriptures should be marked in RED (except the love-fear one, that should be marked in Blue, which is Drake), in the future, I will tell you which takes precedence. Almost always, the ones we will be going over will be red. Even though they may be favorites, missionary Scrips come first.
But like I said, there are exceptions, and I will tell you, or just ask me.
And Sister Puppy, don't be worried if it takes you longer to memorize. You will not get an F in this class. Everyone who comes, brings their scriptures AND their spirit gets an A+!!!
