Im dedicating this thread to Steven Erikson and all of his fantabulous books. If you've read any of his books please post cuz ive only found 1 person in the whole world thats even heard of him.

On another note, sorry, but I havn't heard of him. If you tell a bit about his books I might look him up and read a few.

their a little complicated at first.
There is a glossary in every book and a dramatis personae that tells you who the people are. The only thing is it doesn't tell you how the world works which is quite idifferent than ours.
its a series of ten books mostly about the 14th army, an elite group called the bridgeburners and characters from all over.
its not all about war and strategy, its got a lot of feelings and plot twists and a few revelations. They're really good books so i hope you check some of em out.
depeding on where you live you will be able to get the books sooner. 1-6 are available in US and ithink 7 and 8 are available in Canada. But they come out first in Europe.
Start with book 1: Gardens of the moon cuz i read book three before i realized it was a series and after that i got hooked.
let me know if you decide to read them or if you need help understanding something.
they're great books but you'll need all your reading prowess because in the books you not only learn what is happening to the people in the story but what the gods are planning and the past.
