Brogan boxed the air, kicking up her hooves in glee. It was the first time her mother had allowed her to leave her side. She laughed and continued to romp, beating up imaginary foes and acting out dramatic death scenes. Brogan never stayed dead for long, of course, she was Brogan: sturdy and strong. She was rather proud of her name, and felt it would give her luck in the years to come. Now if she could just find another fawn or calf to play with.....

Anail was less willing to let her little calf wander away than Brogan's mother; she stayed not far off, just incase something happened. She was young and he was her first calf. Nothing could happen to him.
Broom was ambivalent over his first taste of freedom, not that he knew such a word existed. An exciting, tingling sort of feeling ran all over his skin making his fur bristle as he dogtrotted over to the exuberant fawn. He kicked at the ground, unsure of what to do next.

Brogan charged at a tree with flailing forelegs. She more or less ricocheted off the trunk and landed on her back. "Uff!" she gasped, then looked at the score-marks she had left. A satisfied, if somewhat childish, grin sneaked onto her face. Her ears twitched as she heard someone paw the ground. Brogan looked up, "Hey!" she said, leaping to her feet and shaking the dust from her coat, "My name's Brogan. Wanna play?"

Spindly legs still wobbled beneath her. The shaking making her star-bedecked fur shimmer. Deep blue eyes took in her surroundings with wide wonder still. There were others, young like her. Still small. Celestia knew she had many siblings and half siblings... but knowing who they were was a lot to remember for the fawn. At least now, when she had very little other than they were to go off of. She had not met any of them. But then... her thoughts until not very long ago had centered solely around her mother and her next meal, keeping her thin starry patterned legs properly beneath her. Uncertain she lightly pranced towards the other two ready to jump back at sudden movement.

Another little fawn followed after the starry pelted girl that most resembled their father than any of the others. Selina's also wide blue eyes looked about as she followed after her sister. But unlike her sister, she was mostly white, with her backside and face covered in black, while a single crescent adorned her back. Looking ahead of her, she saw the other younglings that appeared to be her age. She couldn't help but be a little curious.
Not far off, another youngster was watching. He was mostly red, with a stretch of black on his back and a starry pattern with moon as well. He was quite the looker. Aidan watched the others from his own spot not far from his mother for the time being, seeming to contemplate joining the other youngsters.

Broom watched Brogan's antics with fascination. He was not at all sure of himself yet, but trying the things Brogan did seemed like fun. "I'm Broom," he smiled at her. "What do you wanna play?" The other two fawn sisters pranced up, and Broom cocked his head at them. "Do you wanna play too?"
(Sorry for the late reply, and for it being a bit crap. sweatdrop )

Blue eyes widened at being so quickly addressed and Celestia quickly put on the brakes -all grace that might have been in her movements lost as the young female scrambled her thin legs to backtrack slightly. Play too? Play what? "M-maybe?" She answered, still quite startled. Her eyes glancing back to the sister Celestia thought she had heard behind her.
