We know that Ozai's Angels could almost certainly beat the Kyoshi Warriors. We also know that Azula wouldn't hesitate to kill her if there wasn't a good reason to keep her around. She hasn't been seen for quite a while. Figure it out yourself.

I think that because she is a main side character, she wont die. This is a show on Nick, think about that.

ya, remember Jet? He was Katara's Suki and he was offed, the only difference is that Long Feng (or however you spell his name) took out Jet, but the fire nation seems more interested in taking prisoners than killing them, I'd guess they're in a cell somewhere, or at least they were until they were killed by the fire nation

I think she's being held somewhere as leverage against Sokka, just in case he DOES attack, and DOES succeed, they can pull the "by the way, your girlfriend..." card.

I would say that I have to agree, i believe Suki is still alive, but I also believe that Sokka will rescue her, I do not think Sokka could take another emotional blow from losing another girlfriend.

I am this friend that he speaks of. I do believe that Suki is dead. It's more of a feeling than a bunch of solid facts pointing to it. But, basically, I refer to it as "Sokka Syndrome." Whoever he seems to fall for, something happens to them. I base my opinion mostly on the fact that Azula and company were more than capable of killing Suki. Azula isn't one to have mercy on people who stand in her way. My question would be, why would they keep Suki alive and a prisoner? At the point that they fought, did Azula know that there was a connection between Suki and Sokka? She might have had some way of knowing, I just don't remember.. sweatdrop

Some of you did make very valid points on the fact that the fire nation tends to prefer to take people hostage rather than kill them. This does seem to be true, so I wouldn't doubt Suki still being alive. However, I still have a feeling that she isn't. It's not that I want her to be dead, it's just my instincts rofl

Hmmm. Even if Aula is the type to kill without mercy, she's very dedicated to her nation and wouldn't have killed Suki off right away. I think the most likely possibilty is that she and the other warriors were sent off for questioning and were probably kept alive long enough for Azula and the others to come back and listen to them. Even if Azula was lying about what Suki said, she must have seen her enough to know that Sokka was important to her. I say currently she is in rather bad condition right know and if ever rescued have some pretty bad nightmares for quite a while. After all, the Fire Nation really isn't known for kind and gentle treatment to prisoners of war or prisoners in general.

Personally, I believe Suki is still alive. I already thought that, but because Azula actually TALKS about her to Sokka (I won't say what about so I don't spoil it) during the Day of Black Sun part 2. That gave evidence about her being captive at one time, but no one knows where she is or if she's still alive. In fact, that could have been before she was killed. They were quite vague = But deep in my heart, I think she's still alive.

~I watched DoBS about 2 weeks ago, well before Nightmares and Daydreams aired because I'm sneaky and illegal like that. And it was on Veoh.com for anyone to see.

thers no solid evidence in feelings and its clear that firenation likes to imprison instead of kool...in answer to your question "why would they keep sukki a prisoner?" i pose another question, "why would they keep the waterbenders prisoners instead of killing them?"...and PS Jenny1229 "count it" lmao

First of all, tvkid2471, you should spell correctly when you are trying to make good arguments. Because it doesn't really make you look convincing. Did you mean "kill" when you said "kool"? These are the times it surprises me that you get good grades on your papers. xp

As for the "no solid evidence in feelings" argument, it sucks. What about Sokka's instincts? Just because there is no solid evidence in it, doesn't mean it isn't true. It's still possible. And I conceded that it was a very good point that they tend to keep people prisoners rather than kill them. So you don't need to attack me for that. I was reasonable about my argument. Don't be a jerk, and don't take your frustration out on me. You just wait till you get home loser. Oh, and keep your "count it" for your roommate. stare

Well in one of the last episodes I thought azula was making sokka mad by saying that suki was so dissapointed that he never saved her.
So she's probably imprisoned somewhere in the fire nation.
