I took these just after the puppies' eyes opened, which has been a week or two ago, so I need to get some more current ones of them. ^^;

I took a lot of pictures, but only downloaded a few since I'm at home with the dial-up. For those who haven't been in the thread this was first discussed in, Akira and Nala are my fiance's (Dennis) roommate's (Chris) pets. Akira had eight puppies in October and Chris gave us one (Yurei). heart

UPDATE:
New pictures of Yurei! =D He's growing so fast though, so these are a bit behind. >.< He's gotten a lot chubbier since then!

Akira's a total sweetie, but she likes to steal food, dig through the garbage, and eat paper towels. I don't know why. o.O

She gets so excited when people walk in too; she'll pick up a toy and howl with it still in her mouth while she walks circles around you. xD

She also has some pretty vivid dreams from the way she yaps and runs in her sleep. Hilarious to watch. rolleyes

She is really sweet though. Trusts us enough that we were able to stick around while she was having the puppies and we can pick them up and play with them all we want. She's only ever bitten someone once in her entire life and that was Chris when he was goofing around like he always does and wrestling with her. He said she accidentaly sunk one fang into his thumb and once she realized what she'd done, she freaked out and he had to calm her down. The nastiest I've ever seen her get is when she sees Nala eating something; she feels that she must take it. Dennis told me that him and Chris were afraid she was going to eat Nala when she caught her stealing puppy food. xD

=P Ew.

xD You wouldn't have to steal one, Chris is giving them away to good homes. Last I heard, six of the eight are already spoken for too; everybody wants a wolf-dog.

Imagine hiding a wolf-size pet in your dorm though! xD

I'm going to try to get some more pictures tomorrow when I'm over there again. They've grown so much since I took these!

And feed him professors you don't like! xD

Still haven't gotten too; I'm going to try to get some pictures before I go home tonight. ^^;

Got some new pictures, I just need to get 'em on the computer. @_@

I've bought a few wolfdog training books too. One of them was even illustrated by my art professor (the same one who's art appreciation class Dennis and I met in)! =D
And Yurei catches on pretty quick too! Wolves and wolfdogs are typically hard to train, but they're very intelligent and Yurei shows that. He doesn't quite have the attention span needed for the more complicated stuff yet, but I was able to teach him quick not to n** and gnaw on people. It said in that book to spray one of your fingers with one of those bad-tasting sprays they make for puppies who chew and to keep it out of the puppy's reach. Then, when the puppy starts to n**/gnaw on your other hand, switch it out with that finger. It usually takes a few times, but Yurei learned the first time. We're so proud! :'D
And his facial expressions were PRICELESS. xD

I can't when my hands are in his mouth. ^^;
