Storyline
LORD VOLDEMORT IS DEAD!!! Screamed the Daily prophet on the Christmas 10 years after Harry Potter had begun his journey knowing he was a wizard. Now taking up the residence of number 12 Grimauld Place, the two house elves had felt it only right to help Harry out. Dobby of course was in the best of Spirits while the other one Kreacher was not.
Kreacher decided it was high time that he find a way to be freed from that dreadful prison and take his beloved painting of the original Lady of the House with him.
The sneak did manage to arrange it, but Harry was more than happy to set the mean goblin out of there and into a better place.
Where did Harry send Kreacher for Kreacher's bit of Freedom? That's right, the ol' Malfoy residence. All of the Malfoys have now either been killed or sent to Azkaban for their wrongdoings.
Kreacher nearly fainted with glee when Harry had sent him there. Dobby was happy too.
Now how do you suppose Harry spent the rest of that Christmas? Do you think that Harry might feel that perhaps he might want Christmas to last? Well, whether Harry does make Christmas last forever or not, that is up to us, the roleplayers.
Characters
You can be a character from the Harry Potter series or You can be your own.
*note: If you are your own character, you must be a mythical creature of some sort. Whether that be a witch, a wizard, a giant... you get the idea. You can even be a talking Unicorn if you wanna be. But, you must also post a profile below.
*Note 2: If you are a Harry Potter character, all you need do is tell me who you are and which house that character was. If that person was a professor or a bad guy, you'd better state that, okay?
Rules
No unforgiveable curses, they no longer exist. Make this as exciting as you possibly can. Lets see if we can add to the series that has already been super popular on Earth. Post your profiles like you are sending an owl post to Harry. I am Harry Potter. Begin Roleplaying as soon as I, as Harry Potter, give you a reply back in this thread.

(Interesting, Tiffany, I like this!)
Dear Mr. Potter,
Greetings, my name is Ken. I am a magical unicorn that resides in the forbidden forest close to Hagrid's hut at Hogwarts. How are you?
If you are wondering how I can write with hooves, it isn't easy, but, I can manage. The point of this missive is so that I might be able to get you and your friends to help us Unicorns out. You see, we had bought too many party favors and we need someone to come by and pick them up. Could you possibly be of assistance?
With lots of luck and horse shoes,
Ken J Masters

Greetings Mr. Potter,
Just call me Skan. I'm just another normal wizard compared to you. I'm a junior part-time auror, and still learning. I'm sending this message with StarFire, my Eurasian Owl, in case you can't tell his species. I can't believe how deep of an orange-red he has!
Anyways, I was wondering if I could visit you for a social conversation; nothing to do with our jobs.
Just as a warning, I might bring one of my creatures with me. You see, I like to adopt abandoned, lost, or just any creature who wants to live with me. I love taking care of them, and it's my job to examine other people's creatures when I'm free. I don't know if I can keep it up for long, though, because of my new career. If you choose to accept, I'll be over when you want. Otherwise, I hope you have a good year.
Skan

Harry looked at his two letters and then wrote first to Ken,
Dear Mr. Masters,
Wow, a writing unicorn. I would love to send someone to pick up those party favors. Right now, though I am not sure who can pick them up. When I know more, I shall post you via my snowy owl Hedwig.
Signed,
Harry Potter
Sending Hedwig off, the young owl flew to Hagrid's hut, got her owl treat from Ken, then flew back.
(Not God modding because that is what Ken would do whenever a letter was sent to him. Saving an extra not needed post)
Then writing to Skan, Harry wrote,
Dear Skan,
If it is to see me, then I have one favor to ask before you come. Could you possibly go to Hagrid's Hut, then venture into the Forbidden forest where a Unicorn named Ken Masters will be waiting for someone to pick up some party favors? It would be of great help to me, then if you are agreeable to this, then I shall tell you where I am at. I am trying to arrange a Christmas Party, but I need only the best people and ones who can do a good job doing small errands for me. Oh, and send an invite to Ken to my party when you are there, if you should decide that you'll go do this errand for me.
Thanks a bunch!
Harry
Giving Hedwig another owl treat, Hedwig flew off to deliver the post to Skan.

Skan was sitting in his house, petting a phoenix his best friend owned. He paused, and the arm of his mildly scarred body and face reached out to check its wing, which had been stretched too far, causing the injury. It was healing nocely. He heard a noise at the window, and saw his crup looking up at the owl with little interest. He smirked, now knowing it was from a wizard, and not a random bird. Then he noticed the snow white feathers. Snowy owl... wait... Hedwig? he looked at StarFire as he opened the window, and said "Well, it looks like we're going places!" He let the owl in, and took the letter. Then, he pushed his own owl's food and water bowl towards Hedwig, allowing her to eat some food and drink liquid if she wished. He wrote a response:
Dear Mr. Potter,
I will be happy to go to Hagrid's place and find this Ken and invite him to your party. Have fun planning,
Skan
He grinned, and gave the letter to the owl, saying "You may leave when you finish." He didn't want to rush the owl, since he wasn't the type of person to. Then, he walked up to his bedroom, and quickly changed into a short-sleeved red shirt with a black dragon on it. Then, he put on a long trenchcoat, and slightly baggy black sports pants with two red stripes running down each side. His messy light brown hair fell over his right eye, which happened to be green. His left eye, though, was slightly mismatched, and was an aquamarine. It was hard to see a differnce, since the green eye was covered all the time. He stretched his five foot six inch frame and put on black and white sneakers.
Whistling, he checked on the phoenix, and said "I'm sure you're ok to return to Perry now. Here. Give him this note while you're at it." He quickly grabbed his quill and scribbled a note, and handed it to the beautiful bird. "I'm just letting him know to keep an eye on the house, though I'm sure my other pets will do a good job of it. He glanced at the two kneazles. One of them was part kneazle, part tabby cat.
Then, he put a client's jarvey in a cage, leaving it enough food. His friend would let the client in to reclaim the pet. He heard a few curses and lots of insults but ignored it. They always talked bad about anything. Tilting his head, he was sure he had everything, and also gave the phoenix a copy of his keys. Then he watched the bird vanish in a flash of flame. Locking up and putting protective spells around, he said "Come on, Shadow." He was referring to his black crup. He didn't bother cutting off the forked tail, since he never let the dog venture into Muggle territory. Shadow would probably kill them, which, for Skan, wasn't acceptable. he journeyed to a friend's house to back his aethonon. He smiled at his beautiful chestnut colored winged horse before climbing on her back. He would take a quick ride on the ground before she flew, for he wanted to make sure his friend took good care of the horse. "Good. Wings still as strong as when I left you," he said to the horse. Then he borrowed a basket from the friend, and put Shadow inside...

Ken received the note and knew a messenger was on its way. He gave word to his kind to bring the extra party favors to him. He was going to take care of them. One of the party favors was a baby blue eyes white dragon. It was a super rare dragon, which could breathe lightning when it was angry. The baby was really tame and really cute. Hagrid had requested that Ken take baby White wing to Harry and say it was his Christmas Present to Harry. Of course Hagrid had a big responsibility and couldn't just leave.
He too kept watch of this messenger.
Hagrid combed Ken's long blond mane of hair. He said, "Ya know, Ken, you're mane is gettin' finer and finer everytime I see ya. I am sure you'll sire something strong when 'he time comes."
Ken whinnied then said, "I appreciate your comment, but the only horse would I ever stud would be Misty. She is a fine unicorn, but as stubborn as an ox. ha ha ha."

Skan gently nudged the sides of the horse, and he doubled his grip on the baskte. He knew he could have used his broom, but he liked taking his creatures out for flights. Even if the horse had to return, she would know the way back safely; he was positive of that. Soon, he was flying over Hogwarts, and he looked for a place to rest his horse. As he scanned the ground, he heard a soft, familiar hoot. It was StarFire! He smirked, and said "Good eye." He directed the horse at a clearing, out of reach of the Whomping Willow. He got off, and said "Don't move any closer to the tree, please." When he got a whinny in response, he walked towards Hagrid's hut, owl perched on his head, breathing in the air, and muttered "How I miss this place..."

A black owl in sleak color lands in the windowsill of Harry's home. It's yellow eyes dart around in search of the the said wizard. Harry walked in from what he was doing and saw the bird, waiting for him. The owl hooted and flew over to the desk and perched at a high place on the desk. Harry saw a letter addressed to him and cautiously reached for it from the bird's beak. He opened it and saw a letter written very classical in green ink. It wrote: Mr. Potter, It seems as though you have destroyed the Dark Lord along with his followers, the Death Eaters. I am writing to you from mine and my father's home here in England, well, my home now. You and I had never crossed paths during our time in Hogwarts, for I was a Slytherin and you a Gryffindor.
You maybe wondering why I am writing to you, Potter. Though my house and Head of House did not get along with you, I would like to make a friendship with you now in these times of recooperating from His reign. Please forgive the rudeness of my father but he did have some logic behind his madness. Though he was my father up until late, I did see some fault in him.
If this letter gets to you by my owl, Darius, then please respond back in full. I shall await your response. No rush of course, do take your time and think about it. If you do accept my friendship, then you shall knowmore about me and my father's past that you did not see inside of his pensieve.
Ta-ta, S. Snape
PS, Please give Darius a piece of toast, he enjoys it and it shall suffice as payment in his mind. The owl squaked for it's "payment" and flapped his wings slightly, just to give Harry the message of that he wanted his toast and he wanted it now.

Harry had to giggle at the owl's response to payment and gladly gave Darius a piece of toast. Then he thought about Snape's letter. From the Past, Harry remembered all the pains that Snape had put him through, but then again, now that the Dark Lord was gone, perhaps Snape would change for the better. Harry understood what it was like to be ridiculed, maybe not as bad as Snape had suffered, recalling what he saw in the penseive when Snape was hanging upside down like a bat. He had to feel a bit sorry for Snape in that regard.
Plus, Harry had to recall the time when he had turned on the Dark Lord the one time and had somehow secretly led Harry to defeating Voldemort the very first year.
Then there was the time with the Occulemence lessons. Though Harry hated it, as Harry was sure Snape did as well, it was supposed to be somewhat of a preventitve measure.
And true, Harry was curious now why Snape wanted to be his friend.
In a letter, Harry wrote,
Dear Professor Snape,
I would like to invite you to my first ever Christmas Party. This shall be let's say a test of your friendship. I am curious about the past, as you probably well knew since I did so poorly in your class. I am sure now that the Dark Lord is dead that some darker secrets can be revealed.
And with all due respect sir, I think by exposing our darkest secrets to each other, the memories that had haunted us the most, might be of the best potion in the world for it can be like a boggart. One word and it's history.
Besides, I am sure that I have reason to trust you enough to be let's loosely say "good" while at the party.
Be here by 7. Oh, and if you see Hermonie or Ron on the way, please tell them I want them to come to the party as well.
Sincerely,
Harry
Harry carefully placed the parchment on Darius's leg, which the owl hooted happily for the toast then flew off with another he snuck in his beak.
Hedwig hooted a bit jealous, but Harry said, "Relax girl. I am going to make sure all the darkest secrets are put behind us once and for all. Next to the dark Lord, Snape was pretty bad, but, if he wants to be my friend then there is a smidgen of good in him. I think he wants to tell me what has truly been bothering him all these years. Like the Occ lessons did something to him too."
The snowy owl hooted as if to say, "Just be careful, Harry."
Harry gave Hedwig a cookie and Hedwig flew off to have some fun in the back. She liked her exercise and was as pleased as ever to be set free from her cage.

Darius returned to his home on Spinner's End, where the one who wrote the letter awaited by the fireplace. Darius landed on the perch next to the armchair and lifted his leg to the figure sitting in it. A hand reached up and retrieved the letter from its leg and petted its head. The hand however, was not of a man, but of a woman. The hands opened the letter and read Harry's words. Chuckling at some parts of the letter, one hand left the letter and reached a long, sleek black wand. With a flick of the wand, parchment, quill and ink floated from its place near the bookshelf and rested on the table in front of the armchair. One of the hands set down the letter next to a clean piece of parchment and started to write in the same green ink in the classical cursive. It wrote: Mr. Potter, Test my friendship? Dear boy I shall prove myself at this party you shall be holding and I shall be civil if no one is uncivil to me.
Also, I think you are having the wrong person in mind... As much as I would love to be a professor, I am not. My father was your Potions Master at Hogwarts. Though I do agree that exposing secrets to potential friends is like a healing potion to mend the wrongs of fellow, erm, humans, I shall expose what I think is necessary fr you to know.
I shall be there at your party by 7 'oclock. I do not see your friends you speak of so I don't know what you're going to do on that one.
Ta-Ta, S. Snape The woman sealed the letter with the Snape family crest and handed it to Darius as he flew off back to Harry's home. She sat in her father's armchair and watched the flames. "Father... where have you gone?" she asked herself, sipping some red wine from her goblet.

Potter saw Darius again and another note. He had to laugh out loud this time. He said, "Well, you must love my cooking, don't you, Darius?"
The owl only hooted demanding payment. Harry fed Darius and read the letter. Harry's eyes grew wide in shock that he had read the initial letter wrong. He also noticed that the writer was a woman... Snape's daughter no less. But that S. Snape... same initials.
He wasn't going to ponder too much over that one and then wrote,
Dear miss Snape,
Well, that is a bit of shocking news. So, Snape was your father, who was your mom? Bah, no matter, you can tell me at the party. Oh, could you bring some potato chips, I am all out and I have to stay here in case more letters show. You have gotten me more intrigued now that you told me that Professor Snape reproduced. Why that man was soo cold...
The letter was interrupted for Hedwig decided to attack Darius. Harry then said, "That is enough Hedwig! Darius is only a delivery owl. Now if you want some toast too, here, a piece of toast, now I am trying to write here, okay?"
Hedwig hooted angrilly, but understood and took the toast. Darius let out a sad hoot as if to say, "Why did you take her side?"
Harry said, "She is my owl, Darius. But anyway, let me quickly finish this up and I will try to sneak in another piece of toast."
Darius let out a happy hoot this time. He really was a glutton for Harry's toast. Harry makes the toast just how Darius liked it to be.
Continuing the letter, Harry wrote, anyway, your dad was often rude to me. But, how come am I getting the feeling that you need my help to find your dad?
Anyway, see you at the party.
Sincerely,
Harry.

The owl had returned and the woman reached for the letter and read. Shocking? Why was her father's ability to consummate and reproduce shocking? She continued to read the letter and blinked "Potato chips...?" she shrugged and continued reading. Darius had started to fly to his different perches in the house, which made her slightly annoyed. She then started to write back in the same green ink and classical cursive. Harry, I'm glad you finally figured out that I am not my father, but yes, I am his daughter. I shall introduce myself properly at the party and yes, I shall bring the potato chips, whatever they are. My mum was the late Samantha Mirinov Snape, a Hufflepuff back when she was in school with my father and yours.
I do not need your help to find my father, that is to be my own burden to overcome.
Ta, S. Snape
Darius once more flew to Harry's home but stayed there, for his mistress was on her way to the party.

Harry was liking this owl more and more. Darius hooted of course for more toast, then Harry figured instead of one slice at a time, he'd bring the owl a full heaping plate of toast. He put on there 50 slices of toast just the way Darius liked it. He gave such a happy hoot, he laid an egg! He was super happy!
(Let's make this fictional and say that male owls can lay eggs too. It will be animating it a bit. It never would really happen, but we are in the world of witches and wizards, so, let's say that Darius is a gifted owl.)
Harry was shocked to see the egg there, and apparently so was Darius. He picked the egg up in his talons and flew to Hedwig's cage. Since Hedwig was asleep, Darius used his beak to gently open the cage and then he set the egg down with his talons. He then shut the cage with his beak and then quickly flew back to Harry leaving a few black feathers by the stoop of the cage.
Then Darius resumed eating the toast as happy as a bird can be.
Harry used his wand to put up the rest of the decorations and then waited for Skan, Ken, and S. Snape to show up for that's all who agreed to come. No Hermonie and no Ron was going to make this party a bit akward, but he's handled akward situations before.

The first to arrive was Miss Snape. She walked up the street to the address where Harry resided and saw that it was beside two muggle homes. "12 Grimauld Place..." she said softly as she took out her wand and swished it silently, making to home reappear out from between the muggle homes, not disturbing them. As the home made its way between the buildings and finished its spell, she opened the gate and walked up to the door and tapped on the door with the knocker.
