kimei laid in the soft meadow grass. the breeze was blowing calmly, as she stared up at the white, puffy clouds. her head rested on a white and blue fured wolf. she sighed at the relaxing spot.
"kimei?" she wolf called her. "souldn't we be moving?" he looked at her with blue eyes.
"i know, kaze...." she sighed. "but this spot is so relaxing...we can stay for a few more minutes..." she told him.
she closed her crimson eyes again.
"alright..." kaze sighed.

Lain wakes unsure of her surroundings. She must have fallen asleep in her quest. Lain wakes in the grass field. Lain has her staff of light in her hands as she rises up. Lain stands up and looks around. She was looking for her power cell that would improove her powers with the staff of light.

kaze sniffs the air. "there is someone near..."
kimei looks at him. "hmm? is it a threat to us?" she asked.
he shrugged. "can't tell..."
she got up and stretched. "well," she began. "lets go then..."
kaze got up and yawned, showing his sharp fangs. he smiled. "lets go!" he took off running.
"hey!" kimei laughed. "get back here!" she ran after the wolf.

Taro ran through the meadow on his feathered mount, gradually slowing down.
"This should be far enough fer now, Roll. Let's take a break." He dismounted, rubbing his bird's beak as she cooed.
He sat down next to a large rock, pulling a small bottle out of his coat, chugging the contents. "Whooo! Strong shtuff, knew I shoulda got more," he coughed, feeling through the earth if anyone else was around.

kimei came to a stop on a hill as kaze looked down on a human with a rather large bird.
"who is that, i wonder..." kimei asked her wolf.
kaze narrowed his eyes. "i don't know..." he sniffed the air.

Roll perks up and squawked softly.
"I feel it too, girl.", Taro said, pulling a cigar out of his coat and lighting it with a small fire spell.
"Wadda ya think? Say hello or go ta plan B?" he asked his mount. "Kyuuu, squawk!" she replied. "That's what I thought." He began to set a few reserve spells on stand-by while he waited for the other presence to make a move.

kimei looked at kaze. "it smokes..." she shook her head.
kaze shook it off. "should we drop by and say hello?"
"hehe sure...but lets not attack unless we no its a threat..." she told him. "you know how i feel about pointless blood shed..."
"yea i know..." he snorted.
kimei got on his back. he then took off down the hill. he stopped a few feet away from the human, so kimei could get off.
"hello.." she smiled at them.

Taro tipped his hat up to see his guests, blowing a plume of smoke out of his nose. "Well, a young woman and a wolf travelin' tagether, been a while since I've seen that." he said as he stood up slowly, grunting a bit as he dusted himself off.
"S'pose I aught ta be proper," he took of his hat and bowed deeply. "Name's
Taro Kugayama, at ya service, m'lady." He stood again, donning his hat, waving off the spells cast at his guests' feet.

kaze rolled his eyes at the human and snorted a bit.
kimei smiled a bit. "uh...hi im kimei and this is kaze."
kaze sniffed at the papers on the ground. "kimei, ask him what these are."
"hmm? what are these?" she asked taro as she picked up the papers.

"Ah!" Taro snatched the papers away. "Just a bit of a precaution. Roll!" He called over his mount, then began fumbling through the saddle bags, putting away the papers and pulling out a book. "Kimei, eh?" he said as he thumbed through the book, muttering to himself. "Nope, must be my lucky day again." He put the book back, taking a last puff from his cigar, putting it out on the ground.

kaze growled at the human. "what the hell is he takling about?"
kimei looked at taro strangely. "what are you talking about?"
the wolf looked up at her. "i don't trust him..."
kimei used telepathy to speak to kaze. "you never trust anyone."
"thats because they all end up trying to kill us." kaze snorted. "im just protecting you, kimei...."

"Long story, rather not go inta it right now. Lets just say it the best for the both of us." Taro closed up the saddle bags, giving Roll a pat on the beak, feeling her trembling. "Hey, ya mind calmin' that mutt down, makin' my ride nervous. There, there, hun..." cooing, trying to calm her down. "Apparnently he don't care too much fer me."

"he don't trust anyone we meet...bad expiriences..." she patted kaze on the head. "calm down." she told him.
he shook his head. "hey," he playfully nipped her. "im sorry, i just don't trust him, yet. you understand?"
"its okay, kaze," she smiled at him. "if he does attack us, we will give him a good beating."
kaze smiled and sat next to her.

"Trust me, we know." Petting his mount a few more times. "Thatta girl... Anyway, now that we got the intros done, what the bloody 'ell are ya doin' way out here? Don't exactally look like the huntin' type..." His voice trailed off, looking over the girl and wolf.

kaze tugged at kimei's sleeve. "don't give out too much info..."
she nodded to the wolf. "why are you out here?" she asked taro.
