Hello all those flitting about the subforums...
I brought this idea up a while ago in one of Red's Threads about the possibility of creating a communial dream diary. Afterall dreams are your imagination let wild in your sleep and a source of inspiration for many.
Perhaps we can share them with eachother and see what comes out of it? I'm thinking that this may one day turn into the most amusing and entertaining thread in the Guild.
How this will work is you'll write your dream, in story format (as in it should run smoothly enough when reading and that it has a title). You will post it and your peers will read it (and don't sweat a brick about what they'll think about it, I have a feeling I'll be writing more dreams down then anybody).
Sound good? Does to me... anyway, time for the rules.
1. Absolutely no poking fun or ridicule within this thread. It is a positive enviroment and I will positively make your Gaia life a nightmare if you choose to disrupt that. 2. Try and be literate... it makes things easier to read. 3. Try to keep chit chat to a minimum, comments on other peoples dreams are nice but try to, in the same post, write a dream of your own.
Only three rules so far. So it shouldn't be hard to vex me... now, who wants to be first on the dream plate?

Well, I guess I'll start. This really doesn't have anything to interpret- I just felt like sharing what I remember. I'll start by explaining that I'd gone to see "Enchanted" right before this, and that I've been obsessively watching the mini-series "Tin Man" also, which is what I'm attributing much of the dream to, heheheh...
So in the dream, there are these people attacking (don't remember who), so myself, some of my family, and some random people (king and queen, maybe?) meet in a castle tower to try and figure out a way to stop them. The part that made me love this dream was that when we all met, my grandfather (who died almost four years ago) was there! We all knew in the dream he was dead and that it was his "ghost" so to speak that we were talking to, but it was still nice to "see" him and hug him again. Anyhoo, suddenly from there I was in a different part of the castle place (it looked basically like a house with a lot of secret passages), and I had to find the room again (which I found I could only get to by climbing through a hole in the ceiling). The dream changed here, and it wasn't my grandpa who was the ghost, but my dad (whose alive in real life). Apparently, in my dream he was part of the resistance fighting the bad guys and was killed (there's the "Tin Man" part for ya). The last thing i remember before waking up was looking down through a window in the room (I think it was supposed to be like I was watching the past) and seeing my father, who looked younger than he is, kneeling in a fountain smiling up at the window. While it was a cool dream, it kind of creeped me out a bit too. Anyways, that's my dream!!

I like your dream, filled with lots of scenes... you must be connected with your family.
Anyway, I can only remember a little bit of mine. I was with a group of friends and we were all running down a set of metal stairs. Half way down we all turn around and my friend Matt says, "The only way back up is under the stairway and up the ramp" for there was a metal ramp pressed close to the stairs to catch any debris that fell between the steps. "You have to come out of the top hole on the second stair to asend. If you come out of the second hole on the third step you'll come out into a world of demons." So Matt crawls under the stairs and you can barely see him shimmy up the tight space before he slithers out of the top hole several feet above us. It is now my turn and I start to crawl up the ramp, the metal edges of the stairs on top of me cutting into my skin from time to time. It was so dark, disgusting and hard to manover. I lost count of the stairs and came out what I thought was the top. And as expected it was the wrong hole and before me was a forming portal about to suck me into a world of demons. I looked back and reached out a hand to Matt, but he gave me a look of 'you deserve this' and I was taken into the door. There, several demons were around a camp fire roasting marshmellows. They siad they'd kill me if I didn't tell them three really funny jokes. I can't remember what I said but they started to kinda like me and gave me a marshmellow. Then I woke up.
