Koto had crossed the rock face and followed the trail down to the other side of the mountain. She was finally there. She had left her scent on several trees to help the others find the place. Crossing the clearing, which looked identical to the one in the previous territory, Koto found the den and went in side, sitting down to wait for her pack.
She took in the various smells; they were familiar to her, though not necessarily good. Glancing around, she remembered how similar this place was compared to the first side of the mountain. If one had not known the place by smell or heart, they would easily confuse the two.
Sighing, Koto impatiently got up to pace the floor of the den. She was worried about the others, and though she knew they could find their way, she at least wanted the company of her mate with her now. She knew he would find her. Nevertheless, she could not shake off a nervous, dreadful looming feeling. It might not be her mate, but she felt that at least one of her packmates would not make it.
Koto howled another call, a short but loud one. Continuing her pacing, she whined in anxiety as she waited.

Moments later, Koto heard the call of her mate. Her tail started to wag frantically before she learned from his howl that he was hurt. Hoping he was ok, she raised her head and howled an encouragement back to him.

Kadaj heard his mates howl and sped up a little, raising his wounded leg so he had to run on 3. when he got there, he saw Koto and slowed down and began to walk slowly to her.

When Kadaj approached her in the new den, Koto ran forward to greet him. "Are you ok? Are the others coming? Did any humans follow you?" She rushed him with questions frantically, nuzzling his neck in relief.

"no, no humans followed me." kadaj said and licked his mate. "but one human attacked me a while ago. i managed to kill him with any serious wounds." Kadaj said and then looked around. "and yes, i could see some from the pack thats on their way here."

Koto relaxed a bit. "That's good..." She started. "But where are you hurt?!"

"my left front leg." Kadaj said and showed the wound. "but it isnt deep, so no worries." he said and laid down as he began to lick it.

Koto laid down beside him and nudged his nose out of the way, to begin licking his wound herself. She sighed. "I just hope the others will make it here alright..."

Batista had heard Kotos howl. He was a lone wolf hoping to find a pack and wondered if she would accept him. He had ran for a few miles. He saw her and approached slowly and cautiosly.

Seeing Bastita, Koto began to growl slightly. as this was a new territory, even with her hospitality she had to be somewhat aggressive to defend it. "State your purpose," She said sternly to him, but without being mean.

Batista backed off a little as to not show any agressive intentions. "I am looking to join your pack." he said calmly.

"It's a bit of an inconvenient time..." Koto mused, "But fine. You can join as as long as you swear loyalty to your alphas. That's me and him," She continued, gesturing towards Kadaj.

Batista looked at Kadaj "I do." he said returning his attention to Koto.

Koto nodded and let Batista into the den with the,. "Alright then...we're waiting for the others...we just came here from the other side of the mountain for our safety. I hope they make it." She said, going back to lay down next to her mate.
