Dr. Zeon Dante was in the forest quietly searching for food. He didn't want to disturb and bugs or reptiles. Oh, how he was scared of reptiles. The way they stuck there toungues out and how they moved. Just thinking about them ran a shiver up his spine.

Nikui L was in his normal spot--by the lake. He seemed to be there often, but was debating wandering to the ship wreck or just the beaches. Sighing, he moved to lay down lazily, tucking his paws beneath his chest, while his tail twitched and flicked about.

Dr. Zeon Dante found some fruit upon a high branch and managed to grabs some food with him. 'I'll go the lake and eat this.' he thought happliy as he sprinted toward the lake. As he almost reached the he saw L laying by the edge of the lake. 'hmmm, must be sleeping. I won't bother him.' he thought as he dropped his food with a loud thud and sat down to eat.

Nikui At the thud, his ears flicked back, and he opened his eyes to glance towards Dante. Recognizing him, he moved to stand, and gave a nod of greeting, "I see you found food."

Dr. Zeon " Yup. I did." Dante replied as he tried the mask the fact that L startled him. 'I nearly had a heart attack.' he thought. "Want some?" he offered.

Nikui He had a bad habit of doing so. L moved to approach the other, and seat himself beside him. Giving a smile, which didn't seem very...practiced, something new, maybe. He shook his head, "I'm all right, you need to eat."

Dr. Zeon "Are you sure? I don't mind sharing." he insisted. He nudged one of the foods over the L and began to take a bite into another peice of food.

Nikui Chuckling at the male, he brought his paw up to set against the fruit, "Thank you, Dante." He murmured, his tone quiet, but still gentle. He leaned down to bite into it, glancing around for a moment...curious about if anyone else was about.

Dr. Zeon "No probmmgmhhhm." Dante replied with a full mouth. He heard a little shuffle and turned his head slightly to the right. That's when he saw a lizard. His body stiffened and his ears shot up as high as they could go. 'Go away...' he silently thought as the lizard on crept toward him. He could feel every hair on his body stick up, but he wouldn't will himself to move. 'I don't want to look stupid in front of L.' he thought as he silenty whimpered to himself.

Nikui Look stupid? Well, L wasn't paying enough attention to notice that the lizard was approaching...but he scented the other's distress, and turned his head a bit to look at him. Well, he looked alert.
"You all right?" He had fluffed up quite a bit...he leaned back down to take a bite of the fruit, nibbling at it quietly and slowly.

Dr. Zeon "Oh, no no no. I'm prefectly fine. What would make you think there was anything wrong? heh heh heh." Dante replied with a forced smile on his face. He went back to eating, but only pretended to be taking bites. He would watch lizard from the corner of his eye and flinched as it edged closer.

Nikui Not able to suppress a smile, he plucked up the fruit...and said nothing. Walking around the other, he laid himself beside the other, leaning his shoulder to the other's leg..the lizard paused, before skittering around them, he being the one closest to the lizard.
"Glad to hear it," and, he continued to eat.

Dr. Zeon Dante let out a breath that he was holding and went back to eating. 'Thanks.' he silenty thought as he looked at L.

Nikui Grinning, he finished up his fruit and sat up, setting his paws firmly to the ground. Yawning, he cleared his throat...then lifted a paw up to run over his own lips...closing his eyes with a soft 'hmm'.

Dr. Zeon Finishing up as meal as quickly as possible, Dante decide to watch L for little bit. 'Looks like he's thinking. I wonder what he thinks about all the time since he seems to do that alot.' Dante wondered with awe.
