I met the person I got this story from on Tokyopop.com. Their name is xxsasukesloverxx. Rating: PG-13 (that is my guess, they didn't give a rating) Disclaimer #1: The grammar and layout of this story was almost unreadable, she gave me permission to reformat it Disclaimer #2: I own none of these characters, but she does own Kayla, Miya, Kenshi, Rica, and the Hidden Heaven Village

Chapter 1
“Yeah I did it! I finally did it!” shouted Kayla, a 15 year old girl from the Hidden Heaven Village in the Grass Country. Kayla was short for her age, she was around 5’ 2” and had long, light blue hair that came down to her knees in a long braid. She had dark ocean blue eyes and her forehead protector, bearing the Heaven Village symbol, was wrapped around her neck. Kayla was also much more hyper than most kids her age.
“I have to tell sensei that I finally did it!”
Kayla went running towards a small screened house that had flowers and a fountain around it. She ran inside and stopped when she saw her teammate, Miya, sitting in the middle of the floor with candles around her burning.
Miya was also 15, she had her red hair thrown into a ponytail and it also came down to her knees. Miya had emerald green eyes an was 5’ 4”. Also like Kayla, she had her forehead protector wrapped around her neck. Miya wasn’t was easy going as Kayla, she was tougher and the cockier one of the group.
“Oh, I’m sorry Miya. I didn’t know that you were meditating. But guess what I finally learned!”
“Kayla, you have 5 seconds to get out of this room before I hurt you. 1…2…3…”
“Okay, I’m leaving Miya.” Kayla opened the door and ran outside, but she didn’t get very far before running into Kenshi (their sensei) and knocking him down. “Kenshi-sensei I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to. I had to hurry up and get out of the room because Miya was meditating and you know how she gets.”
“Yes I know she becomes a real pain. But why are you in such a rush?” Kenshi was 189 cm tall (roughly 6’ 2”) and had black spiky hair that covered his forehead protector that bore the symbol of the Hidden Leaf Village. He had dark brown eyes, almost black. Kenshi was caring, kind of forgetful, and he also had a habit of arriving early to training (like an hour early).
“Well I was coming to find you!” Kayla helped Kenshi up from the ground. “I wanted to tell you that I finished my water technique that you showed me! Here let me show you!” Kayla made her hand seals.
“WAIT KAYLA, NO NOT HERE!” But it was too late, Kayla had finished her hand seals and water started to swirl around her. Then a giant fish formed in front of her.
“See sensei I did it!” Then the fish started to move around and come towards her with its mouth open. “Wait no! YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO COME AFTER ME!! AHHHHHH!!!” Kayla took off running away from the fish but it wasn’t long before the fish swallowed her whole.
She was floating in the middle of the fish holding her throat and trying to get air. Then a kunai flew into the fish with an exploding tag. Kayla looked at it. What is that? Then she looked closer to see it was an exploding tag. Kayla’s eyes nearly popped out of her head as she started to swim her fastest out of the fish. I was too late, the tag had exploded. The fish exploded and Kayla went swirling into the air screaming.
“You know, that wasn’t called for Miya,” Kenshi said, somewhat disapprovingly.
“I know, but it got her out didn’t it?”
Kayla came back down landing on her head with swirls in her eyes. “Owww…I got a headache!” Then a large bump formed on her head.
There was a gentle laugh behind them and they turned to see Rica standing there holding a basket of picked fruit in her hands. Rica was also 15, she had white hair that came down to her knees. Her forehead protector was also wrapped around her neck. Rica was 5’ 6” and had light purple eyes. She was super smart and was the kinder one of them. “Are you okay Kayla?”
“I am just wonderful.” Kayla stood up and sniffed the air. “Mmmm, is that fresh picked fruit I smell?”
“Yeah, here I picked a lot so-” Rica didn’t even get to finish before Kayla was digging in.
“Alright you three, I want you to get your stuff packed and ready to head out tomorrow.”
“Why? Where are we going?” Miya asked.
“Well, in a few days the chunin exam is being held in the Hidden Leaf Village. I’ve asked the 3rd Hokage to let you do it sense you three are stronger than the other ninja here.”
“So we get to go to the other country’s village for an exam?” Rica asked.
“Yeah, so be ready because we’re leaving tomorrow.”
“This is great! I get to meet new people! Get more friends! OHHH and best of all EAT NEW FOODS!”
“Like you need more food Kayla,” Rica and Kenshi laughed at what Miya said.
“What’s that supposed to mean! I am not fat! I am just as skinny as you are.”
“If you keep eating the way you are, you won’t be skinny for long.”
An image of herself fat as an elephant appeared in Kayla’s head. Then her face went pale and she dropped the fruit that she had in her hand. “I think I am going to go pack now.”
Rica giggled and turned to Miya. “That was mean, but maybe she shouldn’t be eating so much.”
“Well, you guys should go pack too because I plan on waking up early to leave.”
“So what time do you plan on leaving exactly,” Rica asked Kenshi.
“Umm, around 5 a.m.”
“Then we’ll wake up at 4,” Rica and Miya said in unison.
Kenshi smiled. “I think you guys are catching on.”
