Okay, so noone could replace Steve in spirit, but, if Placebo were to hire a new drummer, who would you prefer them be?
(that was a very badly worded sentence. I hope you understood it.)
An unknown, plucked from obscurity, or perhaps someone from another band that you really like?
If they have to get a new permanent drummer, I want Dave Grohl. It's even possible (though incredibly unlikely). Him and Brian interviewed each other years ago, and got on well, and he's worked with Queens of the Stone Age, who toured with Placebo before. It just seems fitting. (if only he wasn't already in a band who are probably more successful than Cebo)
Opinions? Am I vulgar for even suggesting such a thing?

I totally agree with the Mr. Grohl thing, but I think they're much more likely to pick someone who no on'es ever heard of. Just a hunch.

David Grohl is like my favoritist drummer evarrrr
though I'm not sure how well he'd fit in with Brian and Stefan.

Good point. I don't think they have the same style musically, but some of the best stuff happens that way.

I think they'll probally end up picking some random. It just seams like the kind of thing they would do. I just want the new drummer to be someone who will fit in nicely with Brian and Stef.

I loved the fact that exactly half the band was gay though, so hopefully they pick another straight dude.
