Instructions:
A PDF of the instructions for the new Kawasaki Rose can be found here. It's pretty self explanatory. (Another PDF with a set of photo instructions can be found here - it's a good supplement if you're stuck somewhere with the first set of instructions.)
My commentary on the PDF instructions:
Step 9 - I find it helpful to make an extra crease that connects the top and bottom points in the center of check mark shape. The fold will be created when you do the crimps in step 10 anyway, so I don't see a point in waiting to do it.
Steps 13 - 16 - I really don't see the point in doing these folds because they're just precreasing along existing creases for the most part. I've been able to assemble a rose without these steps.
Step 24 - To the best of my knowledge the diagram for this step is wrong. Below is the correct set of folds. (Sorry it's hand-drawn...)

Curling the edges of the petals is not explicitly included in the directions, but I like to do that to make it look more like a rose.
I absolutely recommend that you learn how to fold the original Kawasaki rose before trying to fold this version. It's a lot tougher because the grid is on a 22.5 degree tilt, and finishing up the bottom of the rose is also a lot more involved.
