The soft sighs that escape their lips...

The smoothness of their porcelain skin...

The dark black eyelashes that still shine...

The sweet sounds of their voices...

The mesmerizing eyes that look into your soul...

Set them apart from everyone else.

Their Tears of Snow

The tale of females that look divine and have hidden secrets within has been passed down through many families for years. Though most will not speak of it for they believe it is just plain rubbish, some find it difficult to control themselves and end up going through the whole tale in one sitting. There has been the occasional teacher that believes in such "rubbish" as many people put it, and they will tell it to their students. There are those rare children and teens that learn of such "rubbish" through their parents though this number is far and few.

Nowadays, though, more and more people tend to hear this tale and immediately call it rubbish. This "rubbish" has been depleted to being told to very few people, and the ones told don't always believe the tale. "There's more of a possibility of vampires being real!" the daily newspaper quoted nine-year-old Kiru Bohijanou, now age 17, eight years ago. Many people had to say they agreed with the young boy, and it slowly depleted the percentage of belief.

~~~*;-;*~~~
"Mommy, tell me a story~!" six-year-old Kayasooki Nohiraki exclaimed, grinning widely.
"What would you like me to tell you?" her mother, Jani Nohiraki, inquired soothingly.
"Something about our family," Kayasooki answered after a pause. Her mother nodded, smiling softly as she stood and tucked the little girl in.
"Only if you promise to just listen and not interrupt me," Jani answered. Kayasooki nodded. The warning was unneeded; Kayasooki never interrupted when being told a story. "Alright, it started many, many, centuries ago..."
~~~*;-;*~~~

...A woman had been accused of doing sexual actions with other married males in the vicinity of their town. Though many believe she did such, there are those that know that such things would never have happened. The woman may have been an outgoing, bold female, but she was loyal to her husband and had a strict code of discipline she made for herself. No one believed her when she said she did nothing; well, I shouldn't say no one since I would be contradicting myself. The few that did believe her and had proof were just ignored, so nothing was really fought over.

The woman was pregnant at the time, and though she was not sentenced to prison, the woman was sentenced to death, after she had her baby. The months went by way too quickly for the woman, and when she finally gave birth, she found she had a very beautiful child, but before she could even name it or care for it in any way, she was taken away and killed. Quickly, but still painfully.

As it turned out, the baby had been cursed. The mother had taken to eating snow to get water, and the snow had held some magical powers that no one knew of. It was when this baby was born that things started changing, though whether or not for the better no one knew. Among many things, there were differences with this child than with others.

One of these differences was that the baby never cried, but when it did seem upset, it snowed outside. No one had ever understood why such things happened, but they did.

Then, the baby had a heart-beat, but it beat a bit harder than most hearts did, and it actually harmed the ribs of the child until its ribs were harder. Many people thought that it was odd for the heart to beat so difficult, but they just kind of overlooked it at times.

As they all soon found out, the baby was a girl, And she grew up to be very beautiful. What surprised people most was that she was never very open or friendly and didn't seem to show feelings... Until she met that fateful boy. She started to actually find herself being happy around him, sad when he was away, and she started to care for him. Her family found it odd, but she shrugged it off as if it was nothing.

This went on through generations, and now there are only three families that still have these girls. If they don't find the one they're supposed to love, what will become of the race? No one quite knows who the girls are, nor do they know where they are; there are only certain characteristics that portray them:

The soft sighs that escape their lips...

The smoothness of their porcelain skin...

The dark black eyelashes that still shine...

The sweet sounds of their voices...

The mesmerizing eyes that look into your soul...

Set them apart from everyone else.

~~~*;-;*~~~
A slight tear escaped Jani's eye as she looked at her little daughter, one of the three cursed. Placing her lips to the temple of the child, she whispered, "May you find your loved one, Sooki."
Follow My Codes
No Cybering
.:Honestly, it's disgusting to most. If you have a horrible urge to do said thing, take it to PMs.:.
Follow ToS
.:This is not my site, so I have to refer to the ToS to make sure nothing happens to this RP.:.
PM Me Who You Want To Be
.:I do this because it's easier to keep up with everything if it's all in one post, and I don't want this to be flooded with people's requests that will most likely end up in rejection since they don't realize the person is taken already or since they aren't literate!... I'm picky, get over it.:.
You Must Be Literate
.:I don't accept -u r so uuuugly! y wuold sum1 want to date u?!- because I'm absolutely positively a grammar natzi! So much of one, I had to make Kaylie type that bit for me and slapped her for being able to do it. I want you to write in story format [[the way a book is written]]- A small smile flittered onto the male's face as he called out, "You little squirt! Stop flirting with every girl in sight!":.
OOC Posts
.:To distinguish that small talk isn't in your post, place [], (), or {} around your words. Please and thank you.:.
Title PM "Snowflakes Freeze Tears"
.:Make sure you put the "cute" emote at the top.:.
Send An RP Sample
.:Look, I want to know how literate you are. If I've RPed with you many times, no need for this. You know who you lot are because you always miss me when I'm gone. xD:.
Post Regularly
. razz ost at least TWICE a week. And if you're going to be gone PM me. Kaylie knows my password and will post for me if times get drastic, and I cannot get to a computer.:.
Do Not Criticize
.:If someone isn't playing their character truly, let me take care of it. I don't need everyone pointing it out and shaming the person to insanity. If you do this, it results in immediate ejection of the RP. This is your only warning. If you read this, put a ninja somewhere in the middle of a sentence in your PM.:.
Have Fun~!
.:These rules are here for reasons known to me, and they're only to keep things lively. I want you to change the title of the PM to Eyes Show Your Soul.:.
Lastly, I May Add More
.:As most people that have joined RPs with me know, I tend to forget something majorly important. Anything I may [and will] forget will be added below this.:.
Forewarning Note
.:Be careful what you say to me. I'm not in too-good a mood, and I don't want to talk about why. So, yeah, just be careful.:.
[Rose, Rosie]
My Door Swings On Hinges
[Straight as a line... That hasn't been curved.]
[Rose is a pretty mellow kid. Even growing up. She hardly argued with people and listened to what they said. She would always follow the rules so she wouldn't get in trouble. Then slowly, starting on her 10th birthday she became more emotionless and blank.
Slowly, she became more rebellious and outgoing. More of a party animal type. Even a bit of a flirt. That was of course, after she met him.]
I'm Blurred Around The Edges
[Born on June 3, it was odd for snow to be falling. It wasn't much but enough to confuse weather forecasters. They thought of it odd to be snowing in the middle of the summer. Then again, her mother was the only one that knew what was going on. Nothing was wrong with her. She was a perfectly healthy baby.
As a child, she always asked her mom to tell her a story. Of course, her mom told her the one involving her ancestor which she loved. The one thing that always seemed to be left out though, was the fact she was one of the three girls. Her mom couldn't handle her being like it and wanted to force it out of her. She made Rose into a mellow girl who obeyed and was never sad. At least that's what she thought.
When Rose turned ten, things started to change. She showed less and less emotion then before. Her mom got worried and so did her dad. Thats when she left, and he took over. Her dad had no idea about her being one of the three girls. Though he did know the story like the back of his hand. He continued to tell it to her as long as she wanted. Until finally, she became distant and unemotional. It was thought as a normal teenage thing. But it didn't end there, she went through middle school and highschool like that. She hardly noticed anything until she met him.
Rose will be the second to fall, totally and completely, head over heels with the boy.]
My Door Swings On Hinges
[Never had a preference. She only searches for that certain boy or girl she needs to help her.]
I've Grown Wise As The Days Passed
[15]
Watch My Actions
[Though when she's with her two friends she seems to be somewhat of a sweet and energetic female, around other people Kayasooki is actually shy. She's somewhat modest and quick to blush whenever complimented or possibly embarrassed. She has a soft, quiet voice, one that makes the listener strain to hear her words if they're loudmouths, but if they're normally quiet themselves, they'll hear her words clear as day. She's a very kind-hearted and somewhat talkative female when you get past her barriers, but until you accomplish this task, don't think she'll be so fast to talk. Sometimes people tie her shyness to being quiet because she's dumb. She is actually really smart, and her straight A's will prove it.
She's quiet in a cold way until she befriends the boy.]
I'm Blurred Around The Edges
[When Kayasooki was born on March 10, snow immediately started to fall in such a way, it was almost like a blizzard. It wasn't exactly strange since it was predicted to happen because of all the snowing that had been happening before-hand. She had been one uncomfortable baby, obviously, since she thrashed about some. Come to find out, she had actually had some stomach problems, which were fixed within the first week. When the baby calmed down, the snowing slowed. Everyone thought it was mere coincedence.
That fateful night when she was six, Kayasooki learned of her great ancestor's life. Though she didn't know she was one of the cursed, she liked to sometimes pretend she was. This gave her parents quite a scare since her energetic personality suddenly went silent. When her mother finally asked what she was doing, she started giggling and told her. She didn't notice the major relief that washed over the woman's face. She was too busy giggling and running around.
It was around this time that her smarts came into view. She had started reading books that most kids would read, the ones with "See d**k run. See Jane run. See d**k and Jane run." She grew bored with those quickly, though and soon got ahold of the famous Cat in the Hat. It was around the age of eight that the little girl asked to be allowed to read a book that would be challenging, something that had chapters in it. She finished it within a week without needing any help.
It was at the age of 12 that Kayasooki found herself losing her energetic personality and other emotions. It worried her, and she ended up asking her mother about it. The grave look on her mother's face confirmed the girl's fears. Something bad was happening. As her mother started crying, she realized she wasn't upset or scared or anything like that. Her mother's crying didn't affect her. The only thing that changed was how her eyes widened in response to being told she was one of the three cursed. This was when they decided to move to find the other two families, who were in the same general area already. It was so she could have her own people to hang out with and not have to try and find other people. It was in this town that they hoped she'd meet the one, the person that would help her regain emotions. Even she was looking forward to it, all hope set on one unsuspecting male.
Kayasooki will be the last one to fall, totally and completely, head over heels with the boy.]
[Bisexual, though she does believe that her love she'll have to find is male. She leans more towards males.]
I've Grown Wise As The Days Passed
Watch My Actions
[Though she may look like a shy girl, Hikaru actually likes to talk to people, especially one certain male named Hiroku Lanisuga. She finds herself enlightened by him and actually likes talking to him, even if it's about simple things such as homework or hobbies. She's not easily saddened, so it wouldn't normally be snowing because of her. She's actually somewhat of the optomist for the small trio since she has a bright personality.
This is only because she's befriended the boy.]
I'm Blurred Around The Edges
[Born on June 17 Hikari was one of the most beautiful babies the doctors had ever seen. They were worried about her calmness and non-crying problem, and they were soon worried about her ribs, though they didn't exactly have anything they could do to help. She recovered quickly from the rib problem, and they never did understand what her calmness was about.
She was told the story of one of her really, really, old ancestors at the age of seven, the same time Sooki found out the story. Her mother didn't keep the fact that Hikari was cursed hidden, though, and she said it blatantly and boldly. Though her mother was worried it would affect Hikari horribly, nothing ever happened, and the girl went about her own business calmly and emotionlessly.
When she met Hiro that day in their English class, she didn't really pay too much attention to him. Until he started talking to her. A friendship slowly developed, and Hikari found herself starting to like the boy, and it surprised her that she started actually have emotions. Her parents were surprised as well, though their ecstaticness overpowered their surprise, and they found themselves so grateful. If they only knew how difficult it would actually be.
Hikari was the first one to fall, totally and completely, head over heels with the boy.]
We Like To Wear Tuxes
It's On My Birth Certificate
[Lokainou Dojinsu]
Though It Comes From Other's Mouths
[Kai; Lokai]
My Door Swings On Hinges
[Straight through and through. He has only found himself interested in females, though he is okay with homosexuals and bisexuals.]
I've Grown Wise As The Days Passed
[18]
Watch My Actions
[Lokainou doesn't necessarily look like it, but he's a big flirt. He will flirt with almost any girl he deems cute, and he won't care what others think of him. He gets by with his looks and charm because he can pretty much talk the teacher into believing a lie, depending on what he did or didn't do. He's actually a really nice male, though he does get into trouble by flirting with a lot of the girls, especially if they tell him to bug off and leave him alone. He doesn't do so well with that. Aside from that, he's actually really smart, but he just needs to learn to apply it to his schoolwork.]
I'm Blurred Around The Edges
[When he was born on August 1, Lokainou had some stomach problems. When he ate food, by the time it got to his stomach and started being processed, he would throw it back up. His parents took him to a lot of the nearby hospitals and asked what was wrong. The doctors simply said that there was nothing wrong, and he'd get over it in a a few days. His parents didn't believe the doctors and ended up taking the boy to a hospital just for kids and teenagers. They told him that he did have a problem, and they took him in for surgery to fix it.
By the time he was four, Lokainou'd heard of the tale of the girls with hearts of ice and that never cried, instead making it snow. Of course, being four, he believed it and would always feel saddened when it snowed since that meant that a girl was crying. His father wasn't a believer of the tale, and when he heard his mother had told him, he made sure he told the boy that he thought it was all absolute rubbish.
Lokainou still believed in the story, even after his father told him it was rubbish. He thought his mother's opinions and thoughts were far more correct than his father's. His father ended up divorcing his mother by the time he turned eleven, but he couldn't exactly say it bothered him. His father had read one last thing from the newspaper aloud to him and his mother before he left, and it was the opinion of a boy named Kiru Bohijanou. A quirked brown was the reply of the eleven-year-old, and he just shrugged. Like it mattered what some other boy thought.
It was in his Senior year that Lokainou saw a girl he thought was quite easy on the eyes. She and her two friends were all very pretty, but she caught his eye more-so: Rose De Winter. He had a couple of classes with her, which he liked, so he thought he could get to talk to her a bit. Boy was he wrong. She ignored him at first, but he wouldn't give up. Not until she actually had a conversation with him, and he knew it wouldn't be long. Not if he could help it.]
Though It Comes From Other's Mouths
[Ru-kun, Kiru]
My Door Swings On Hinges
[Straight and makes sure people know it. He doesn't necessarily approve of anything that has to deal with the same sexes liking each other.]
I've Grown Wise As The Days Passed
[Kiru is one of the boys that everyone in school knows, even though he's only a sophomore. He's a very smart male, and everyone knows it. Though that's what he wants to be known for, it's not. Since he's opinionated and voices it, he comes off as a rude male, but he isn't. He sees nothing wrong with letting people know his opinions, be they nice or the rudest thing anyone has ever heard. He's not prone to foul language or foul-mouthing people, so him being an excellent, smart student gets him to be liked by all the teachers. He's a very logical person, so unless you can show proof about something, he may not believe anything.]
I'm Blurred Around The Edges
[Kiru was born July 10, and right from the start he was already being taught words. His first sentence he ever spoke was, "My toes are enclosed in my shoe" at the age of two. It shocked most people around him since he was smarter than most people at his age. He had always disliked some of the people that thought he was adorable and the people that told his parents to stop cramming stuff so insistently into his head. He yelled at someone one time for it and got the people to stop reprimanding his parents.
At the age of six, Kiru realized that snow was just something scientific and found he didn't really care for it. There was nothing fascinating to him about the not-fully-solidified precipitation that was more common than rain where they lived. When he was asked one time why he wasn't outside and playing in the snow like the other kids, he turned and glared with the statement, "It's only solidified precipitation. Who cares about it? It'd be like going outside and playing in puddles of water." This comment shocked the person that asked, and they went and told his parents that there was obviously something horribly wrong with him. His parents disagreed and told the person to get out of the house and never come back.
By the time he was nine, many people had started turning to him for information since Kiru was obviously very smart. His words and opinions were more complex than any nine-year-old's words had ever been, and his responses to information and statements were always surprising. His response to the rubbish of the females that had hearts of ice and made it snow instead of them crying was one that shocked many, and it also made them realize how incredibly stupid it was. This was the quote that made the boy quite famous in his time, and many people envied him for not even thinking about it themselves.
By the time Kiru became a Sophomore, he had so many girls swooning over him that he started to find it annoying. Sure, he'd occasionally speak to one of the girls, but it wasn't anything special. What made him disgusted, though, was the fact that there were some boys that liked him. It was sick and just flat-out wrong for boys to like another boy, and he didn't approve of it at all. And to show them he was straight, he struck a boy across the face and made it quite clear how he felt, in front of all the upperclassmen. Neither the Freshman nor any of the teachers had been present to see this display, so teachers still thought of him as one of the good students that could never do anything wrong.
It was in one of his classes as a Sophomore that he noticed a girl was in his class. One that didn't really speak to anyone, not even the teacher for that matter. She also seemed practically emotionless, and this somewhat intrigued him. He found himself watching her at times, but what really got to him was the fact that she was actually really smart. She would make the same grades as he, and he found himself starting to compete with her. One day, he'd confront her. But he wasn't sure when that day was. Maybe it'd turn into a nice conversation... or maybe it'd be one that wouldn't be too pretty.]
I've Grown Wise As The Days Passed
[Hiroku is one of the nicest boys you will ever meet. He's very polite and still goes by a lot of the old-fashioned rules, such as holding a door open and letting females go before him, smiling sweetly at people and talking to them all equally, those kinds of things. He does have his rude side, but he doesn't ever let that show unless he feels it's a dire need. Now, he isn't a goody-two-shoes; he does get into trouble and will occasionally 'forget' to do his homework, but he isn't fond of doing such. He does it to show people that he's not afraid to not do something and will do a lot. He believes that most people respect people that try. He also believes that a lady's respect and trust is the best thing a man can have.]
I'm Blurred Around The Edges
[Being born on February 16, Hiroku was born almost a month before the big blizzard. He was fascinated with the snow that fell so quickly and elegantly onto the windowsills of the house, even as a month-old baby. His fascination with snow grew as he got older and could finally go outside and play in the snow, this white solidified but not fully solidified water.
Hiroku was not raised to be as nice as he is. As a matter of fact, if anyone knew about his past, they'd be really curious as to why he was such a sweet, polite boy. His father was a drunk and a drug addict and used to beat him until the boy cried out in pain and fell to the ground, writhing in pain. His mother was a really nice female, and she even took the beatings at times, depending on what state he was in. It wasn't long, though, until the drugs his father was using started to make him go crazy and eventually caused his death.
Hiroku was nine at this time, and it was when he was reading through the paper that he found out a boy called the tale of those certain females that didn't cry but made it snow and that had hearts of ice less believable than there being vampires. He didn't exactly agree with the boy, though, since he actually believe in the "rubbish." A slight roll of his eyes had greeted the quote in the paper. His mother had never approved of the story being told to him, but she figured there was nothing she could really do.
It wasn't long after he went to school in his Senior year that Hiroku met Kari, or fully known as Hikari. She seemed a bit distanced from everyone, and he found himself intrigued by her. She never spoke, never had any emotion on her face, and he thought this was just because she had no one to talk to. That was when he decided he would speak to her. It seemed to shock the female at first, but she began talking back to him and eventually started opening up and becoming energetic. It never really occurred to him that the two girls she hung out with were the exact same way, not until he saw them at lunch one day, just staring at her without any expressions on their faces. He didn't think to ask Kari about it, not yet anyways. No, he'd wait and ask her later, when he knew she trusted him.]
