Martin walks into his new classroom as the chalk begins writing 'Master Nigem - Applicable Math' on the board. As it finished, the chalk dropped abruptly into the chalk tray while Martin observed the board with approval before turning around to survey the classroom.
Why is it that no one appreciates open spaces anymore? he thought, noting the two person tables with filled the room. He waved them aside one by one to face the side walls the chairs resuming their proper relative position after their tables had resettled. There, he thought, with great satisfaction, now, there is plenty of space for demonstrations and the students still have a table to write at.
Martin removed his messenger bag and began pulling books out. Where is it? After removing various Physics, Calculus, Geometry and Statistical Analysis textbooks from his bag he finally found the book he was reading about the number phi and sat down at his desk to read while he waited for further instructions on his classes.

Martin looked up finally after hours of staring at his book, completely enthralled, and rose to inspect his room better. The walls were rather bare, he thought, and with Christmas coming up something must be done about that. He wandered out to go in search of good shops and cafe's in the immediate vicinity, carefully remembering to lock his room with a galactic cell number on the door incase someone needed to reach him ((just post here, I'll find it)).

"Oh, Hello?" Martin was actual reentering the school as he spoke. The shops were okay, but the cafes were excellent.

((We had a teacher like that at our school. But he abused his mod power and got booted. I didn't like him. But this is not there and she's not him so I'm okay with it. Besides, I agree, grammar and spelling are our friends. The world would be quite confusing with out them. Of course, I try to make it confusing anyways, so...))

"Oh. Well, I... I'm not sure. Ummm...I could move in to that room, although I rather like this one...not too big, lots of windows, you know...You're the boss, whatever you say is fine." Martin rounded the corner of the hall and stopped dead, rather surprised that he had gotten to his room so soon, thinking it at least another three turns away.
He hung up his phone as he started foreward again. "By the way, I was wondering where my lodgings would be. More specifically, are there teacher's cells on the campus or are we required to find other accommodations? I'd rather like to get settled in."

Actually, there is a teacher's lounge subforum we don't really use, maybe I could set up living areas in there. What do you think?

((No. I'm looking for a way to recruit for my school, too. Gaia needs a guild advertisement competition. Guild captains can send in advertisements either in the video catagory or the image catagory, and have a group of five or so winners who get their ad placed in the announcement thread.))
((Oh, come on! How on gaia aren't we on the second page yet! I feel gyped!))
