The Ghost City was as quiet as ever as Nagaharu strolled down the deserted streets, enjoying the silence with closed eyes. One could almost hear the cries of the dead who had been killed here during the Great War, vengeful spirits full of hate and regret. Of course, that was all before he'd been unfrozen from that ice cavern and allowed to walk the earth once more. There'd been no sign of any of the mutant population, then again, they most likely remembered what happened the last time they attempted to make him their prey.
"My lord!" a voice called from behind him before the sound of three people landing on the ground was heard. Without turning, Nagaharu knew who it was. "We have brought you the bait, Lord Nagaharu." Aoshi said, laying a young person with a black cloth bag over their head on the ground, Lucius and Virgil following suit. The bags were removed, showing the faces of three 12 year old children, all girls. From the way they were dressed they looked like they were taken from an all girls boarding school. "Good work, but next time don't take them from the same place. Applewhite may give us some leway in these matters, but even he has his limits." Nagaharu replied before ordering them to set them up.
Within minutes, the girls were tied to posts, their mouths gagged, their faces stained with frightened tears as they squirmed against their bonds. They were sprayed with a strong smelling liquid to put their scent on the air, making them attract the more savage of the mutant population. Lucius put a hand to his ear containing the small communication device and said, "My lord, the tracking team found something during their search. Some kind of aircraft crash site. They say it's not an earth ship."
"Really?" Nagaharu replied, "Have them mark down its location and send word to the Research Division. They may find it quite interesting. Any sign of suitable tribes?"
"Yes, sir. There are several in the immediate vicinity." Lucius reported.
"Excellent. Have them start attacking the tribes to gain the attention of the targets and lead them here. The mutants should be coming soon, so conceal yourselves in a high location until I give the signal. We'll see just how much they've kept up with their civilian saving abilities."

As Nagaharu chattered on his phone, he was being watched from a long distance. he was visable to this watcher from a long scope that was adorned with a green cross, an aiming crosshair to be exact. This scope was attached to a rifle, which had it's trigger being lightly squeezed. " Thats right buddy, just keep on chewing the fat. Hope it's something worth your while." Said the rifles owner silently to himself. With a little more pressure, a bullet was released with the words " Can you hear me now" uttered to ones self in amussment. The bullet was headed straight for Nagaharu.

As the bullet passed through Nagaharu's sphere of awareness, it rapidly began to slow before coming to a stop a few inches from his head. Turning his head, Nagaharu raised an eyebrow and plucked the bullet from the air, looking it over for a moment before glancing up in the direction it was fired from. Either someone was very gutsy or very stupid. He was guessing the latter.
Aoshi caught his eye, prompting Nagaharu to nod his head towards a building in the distance. Aoshi simply narrowed his eyes and sprinted off, leaping up into a closer building and running through the ruins to get to their position.
Nagaharu, meanwhile, took his focus back to more important issues as he heard the familiar groaning of a herd of savage demi-humans approaching. A grin spread across his face as he muttered to himself, "Showtime." With a wave of his arm, the others disappeared into the abandoned buildings, Nagaharu following suit.

The shooter looked up from his scope , cringing behind his blelclava that covered his face. " Damn." He got up quick, swinging the sniper rifle to his side, and bringing the assualt rifle to his hands. He ran acroos and jumped down a gap into the building he was perched atop. He began to run through to find another loaction. He pointed the muzzle of his gun straight ahead as he went through the building. He kept oe eye trained out the windows as he loked for another postion to shoot from.

(contuining from resistance headquarters.)
Jute led the way to the crash site, the discharge from the ship still blanketing the area with sparks and bursts of electricity. Jute stood at a safe distance and looked out to it. "Well Darcetti, there it is. the Teseract. Finest peice of rubble your likly to find in any galaxy"
Meanwhile, in another part fo the city. The shooter had foud another spot to take aim. He brought out his sniper rifle and trained his sights on the forecourt before the hostages. When he caught sight of the first mutants coming thier way, he pulled the trigger and droped it with a shot to the head. He pulled the hammer of the gun and put his eye to the sight again.

Darcetti walked forward, looking a slight bit afraid. He was most proficient in Wind and Earth, but loved Fire best. As for sub-elements, Darcetti had not put much thought into those. He didn't train them as much as the base elements, and so this would be hard.
What made it worse is the fact taht it was alien technology, who knows if they are different in how electric currents flow compared to human tech. But he would have to try anyways...
Darcetti turned to Jute "So, now I just get rid of the field and I'm done? Or is there more to this than you're saying." Darcetti asked. He wondered if Jute needed him for something else, maybe he had to move the components somehow too... or did Jute have it covered?

"That's it, your involvment can end there. I woulod appretiate an extra hand sorting through the debri's but that is only a matter of conveniance. However, if you don't want to end up holding the feild the entire time "I'm in their, you might want to draw the eletricity to some other path. Maybe the electrical lines of the city would suffice."

Darcetti was confused, the city? Why there? "So you want me to turn on their lights? What for?" Darcetti asked in a confused way.

" I Don't really care what you turn on, I just want to have free access to the wreckage. If you spread it out through the city, you won't have to hold it the whole itime I'm in there. It's simply a matter of options." He looked to thr wreck as a jolt of leaped from the craft and left a large whole in the wall of a nearby buidling. " I really don't won't to leave anything to chance."

Darcetti chuckled, he got it now. Jute thought he 'HELD' the electricity like it was a burden. Well, he was wrong. "Ah, I see how you think it works. Yay, I get to teach you something." Darcetti turned to the wreckage and prepared to take in the electrical discharge, he put his hands up in front of him facing the crash site as he said "Well, you see, I don't really HOLD it as much as ABSORB it. I take in the electricity and can then use it for my own needs. Kinda like eating food for energy, except this can kill someone. When I absorb it, there are numerous problems and advantages, too many to say. One of the advatages is that I can redirect it at an enemy or use it to charge something ELSE up, another might be that some of the electricity hangs on the outside of my body. If something capable of conducting electricity came close enough to me, a person being an example, it conducts. Of course, how much I take in can change side effects. The more I take for example, the more attacks available and the bigger my little electric shield gets. Alot of disadvantages apply too. One being that I would have to discharge before entering the headquarters again else I shock and fry the whole place. That one applies to any metal building actually. Another is that if I take in too much, bad things happen, serious things. I could become slightly paralyzed until some of it wears off, which all of it does eventually if I don't use it. Another is full paralyzation, no moving. I could shock myself into a coma, I could even kill myself. But for that last one to happen I would need to take something in of the power of a lightning bolt from the sky. It all depends on amount really..."
Getting through what he knew of his power with electricity, he prepared to try this out. He concentrated, and stepped forward a little. As he entered his sub-elements domain, he began feeling strange. It had been a while since he used this element, and every time he prepares to do something major pertaining to an element, weird stuff happens to his body. He felt hyper, like really hyper. He felt fast as well, like he could run a 10 minute mile in 10 seconds. He also felt twitchy, and began twitching slightly, shaking as well. As well as all this, he began to tune to his element. He could feel the strong electric currents in the air, feel the electrons floating around. The density of electrons increased as he got closer to the pile of metal and wreckage, and soon he could almost see the microscopic particles floating through the air. There were so many, he could actually see them.
He got close enough to where he could feel what a normal person feels when in an electric field: Electric shock. The electrons so dense now, the currents so strong, he began feeling quick jolts of pain all over his body. But he needed to get closer, a little bit closer, if he wanted to kill the field completely. He was soon yards away from the wreckage, and began slowing down, the shocks getting more powerful and more numerous. Small bursts of light could be seen in the air around him. He put his hands high in the air, and began absorbing the electricity, and as he did the shocks stopped and strands of electricity could be seen trailing from the air around him into his body. It looked like he was hooked up to some kind of machine that was continuously shocking him, but he didn't feel a thing. In fact, he began feeling powerful, all this electricity gave him enough power to completely blow a building away. The field was huge, and as he came near the end of the absorbtion, he began feeling pain on the inside of him, the electricity flowing through his blood. The powerful feeling faded, replaced by the feeling of fear and pain. There was alot of voltage, too much voltage.
It got worse from there, and he couldn't stop. If he did he could quite possibly rebound all of the already absorbed electricity all at once. That would be bad, basically a shockwave would occur. He could kill Jute and maybe anyone else that happened to be wandering around. Darcetti was becoming scared, his joints began stiffening up, and he was numbing up completely soon after. But before he knew it, it stopped. He had got it all, and it was safe for Jute to come forward. The problem came in the form of Darcetti falling over, unmoving.
Darcetti was unconscious.
((Hehe, thought I'd make it more interesting. biggrin ))

Jute grumbled as he walked over to Darcetti and looked down at him. He went down to check his pulse only to be shyed away by the electical arc that was being produced y his body. Jute produced another of his orbs and let it wrap around Darcetti, causing him to float. Jute went into the ship and began to look around. he called out "Faust..Faust. Where are you?" There was a sudden stirring amoung the wreckage as a small, robot with metal tentacles climbed out and staired at Jute with a blue iris that opened and retracted as it shifte it's vision. " Ah ,there you are." The machine moved a few of it's tenticles and produced a circular white object." the flight recorder? thats good Faust, but what about my medical scanner> I have a patient." the metal creaure gave a nod and dove into the piles of wreckage. Jute watched it go.

Darcetti's unconscious state was the first time he had actually SLEPT in a long time. Every other time was a self-knockout so he didn't dream, and this was because his dreams were evil and painful. So, this time, he didn't self-terminate, so he dreamed.
His dream was set in a house, a beautiful house, with white marble floors and walls. Beautiful carpets and rugs in places he assumed were living rooms, a kitchen the size of a resturaunts kitchen. There was a staircase in front of him that led up. He walked on, but as he set out his foot, he noticed his boot was gone. Only to be replaced by socks, nice comfy ones. He looked all over his body, he was in normal living clothes. A white T-Shirt, some sweats, and socks. He found a mirror in one of the living rooms, and noticed that if he didn't concentrate, his eyes didn't becmome red. He walked up the stairs, stopping at the top, and looking left and right. It was a big home, but only two stories high. He took a left down a hallway, with nice carpet, and saw alot of doors. He kept walking for what seemed like an eternity. Eventually he came to an end, the end was a wall with a door...
But there was something wrong, that wrong made it's self clear in the form of a splat of blood on the door. Darcetti stared unemotionally, wondering why there was blood in a beautiful home like this. It marred the perfection, turning it to ugliness. Darcetti approached the door, and opened it, that's when he noticed it was already slightly open. He looked inside and noticed that there was a noise, the noise of someone giggling. He looked around the room cautiously, and saw a man in the corner. He walked up to the man, he seemed to be laughing for some reason. Darcetti looked around the man a little, noticing blood everywhere, a trail leading from the door to the man. Around him a pool had formed, Darcetti wondered if he was hurt...
He approached the man and asked as he reached for him "Sir, are you alright? You seem like you are hurt, I might be able to help you if you co-"
The man turned around.
Darcetti backed up quickly in horror, the sight was too gruesome for him, far too gruesome. In the man's arms, lying dead and blood covered, was a small girl. A girl of the age of what looked like 6 or 7. She was torn apart, her face gashed to the point where you could not distinguish it from human or something else, alot of blood was streaming from here. One arm was was missing, as was one leg, leaking out the crimson liquid. Her stomach and chest was torn apart, much of the underlying muscles and even some bones were visible. In fact, the only way he could tell it was a girl was from the left-overs of a pink dress and a little bow, all blood soaked, in her hair.
Darcetti was speechless, the man was smiling, and chuckling slightly. He opened his mouth and said "Meet my daughter, her name is Lucy, and she just turned seven. What a happy day, I got to take her to a fun place. There she met a big man with horns, she got to play with a slightly large doggy, and then I brought her home. She's so happy right now, I could just cry." At this, the mans eyes waterd up. But not with tears, they were watered with blood. It began streaming down his face and on the barely human girl. Darcetti stood paralyzed, unable to speak or move.
Then the unimaginable happened, the girl moved. Darcetti slowly looked down, and saw that her one eye, the other one torn away, was staring at him. Blue and serene, as if she had no cares at all. The girl opened her partly missing mouth, and said in a sweet voice "I'm having so much fun today, would you like to play with me?" Darcetti felt a pain in his hand, he raised it to his face and stared: His hand was melting away, revealing muscles, then bone. Blood that was his began appearing, and alot of it. The melting process tralied up his arm and to his shoulder, coming to his right side of his face, and branching off down his torso and too his legs.
Darcetti could take no more. As part of his face and most of his body melted away, he raised his head and let out a blood curdling, skin crawling, terrified scream...
((What's funny, is this is how his problems began O_o))

The scream caused Jute to leap with a start, hitting his head on a peice of anging debree, which fell off from the wire it hung from to hit him again. Faust raised it's eye up and looked around for a moment before getting back to it's work. ute was rubbing the top of his head when he looked out at Darcetti. There wasn't any hazard outside at the moment, so Jute was left to assume it was a bad dream.
Meanwhile thee shooter stood up again, going to look for a diffrent angle to keep an ye on the ostages, however as he ran through the buidlings, he eventually came up against the strangly dressed man that was one of Nagaharu's lackys. He didn't hesitate, he raised the rifle up and fired at Aoshi.

Darcetti woke up in a drenched sweaty state. He looked around, he had taken down the field it seemed since there were no shocks of pain in his body. It also seemed like his overall Voltage Level had dropped, as he was now awake.
He noticed he was floating in midair "Jute!" He called out loudly and and angrily. "Quit making me float god dammit! I hate it!" He tried to dispel the floating field, and succeeded. But dropped to the ground with a thud. "OW MY a**!!!" He called out.
Darcetti was back...

Jute walked out of the hole in the wreckage and nodded to him. "Good, I am glad to see you are awake." Faust crawled out of the wreckage and hung in front of Jute. One of it's tenticles came down hodling an object like a wide gun wiht a view screen and buttons on it. Jute lowered his brow. "Must you always do things too late." Jute said as he scolded Faust. He shok his head. " Alright Darcetti I've nearly found everything I need, just have to find a few more things and we can leave." He went back to searching in the craft.
