Pheonix Wright: Attorney at Law
This spans over the first Three games in the Pheonix Wright Series for the Nintendo DS.
In this rp, we will be walking through murder cases, in and out of courtroom settings to determine who is at fault for the murders. The Defense claims their Defendant is innocent while the Prosecutors are ruthless and sometimes forge evidence to prove them wrong. Judges listen to both sides and the Witnesses to make the call... Guilty or Not Guilty?

You do NOT have to know any laws what-so-ever.
This game is similar to CLUE, where you have to figure out what happened. There will be no murdering of other characters.
Types of characters:
Prosecutors- Try to prove the accused person guilty. They sometimes use forged evidence
Detectives- Search the crime scene(s) to collect evidence in an attempt to find out what happened.
Defense- Tries their best to prove the accused not guilty, without pinning it on someone else innocent
Witnesses- Try to describe what happened at the murder. Sometimes they are liars or maybe even the real murderer themselves!!
Scientists- They check out the physical evidence of the crime, the murder, and evidence. They can say if evidence is false or not.
Defendants- The person whose life hangs in between the defense and the prosecutors words. They are accused of Murder, and have a potential of really being innocent.
Cops- Try to keep everyone away from the crime scenes and sometimes accidentally mess-up evidence, or on purpose. They only let Scientists and Detectives into the crime scenes.
Psychics- Women who can summon spirits of the dead to help the trials.
Real Murderer- The person who REALLY did kill the victim. Usually hides self as a witness.
Terms and Words-to-Know:
Objection!- The word used for Defense and Prosecutors when they find a flaw in the other's thinking, evidence, or a witnesses testimony.
Hold it!- Defense uses it to get more details from the witness, who could ask the judge if it's necessary. It can be silenced by the judge if the witness asks.
Over Ruled- ONLY JUDGES can say this, and it basically means they cancel the last question or statement. All over-rulings must be approved by me.
Testimony- The witnesses give this for their account of the murder.
False Testimony- The witness's testimony was proven complete crap.
Autopsy/Autopsy Report- Scientific testings that explain what injurries were sustained to cause the Victems death. Also can tell of any chemical substances that are "odd." No over-ruling the autopsy reports.
Turnabout- It's what "turns-around" the case for the defense's victory. Usually it was about to appear the defense was guilty when this happens.
Ergo- Literally means "therefore" and used by prosecutes *COUGH-edgy-COUGH* to sound smart.
Erroneous- Complete and utter BULL. "Erroneous charges" are crimes that never happened.
Victim- the person who was killed in the related case. The victems are determined before the "case" starts.
Murder Weapon- What was used to kill the victim.
Evidence- things that can be used to prove innocence or wrong-doing of the accused. Sometimes it can be forged.
Summoning- Used by Spirit Mediums to contact the dead.
Rules:
-I am a judge. I can over-rule things I find unreasonable. Follow the ToS and rules of Gaia. Duh.
-if you want to suddenly have a "turnabout" piece of evidence, you must PM me or a "judge" unless you were already given it.
-you will mostly have your own secret "inventories" of items, evidence, etc. I will be keeping track of it, but please do so on your own as well without posting it anywhere on the web. Make a file on your computer or have a sticky-note with your basic information for items.
-If this gets popular, then I will appoint Judges who will decide endings based on evidence. Judges may NOT pass the guilty verdict if the defense has cleared themselves from the crime and pointed to another suspect.
-I will be PMing everyone different information for the trial/murder. Do NOT share information at all unless it is in this thread.
-I encourage use of official characters. Please don't change them too horribly. You may start rping after I add your character to the "accepted characters" post.
-If you are unavailable for too long (10 days) with an official character I will give it to someone else
-I will add rules as I see necessary.
-Fill one of these out and have fun. PM this information to me. DO NOT POST IT. In the second post is a list of characters I accepted. Any character that is not dead and not owned by another Gaian, I encourage you to ask for before making new characters.

-I will do random updates with "News Reports" to explain the ending or beginnings of trails... Or important things that could be going on.
-I request that Defense Attornies, prosecutors, and witnesses/murderers sign up first.
-For witnesses, I will be PMing you a story of what you saw. You are not to talk among yourselves about the information except in the courtroom. I will also tell you "secrets" or things your character wouldn't want others to know. Please keep it to yourself, as it's a SECRET.
-The rp is partially scripted due to items and evidence. This is technically a mystery/suspence story. I will ask via pm to make any sudden changes to any characters.
