I came across this website today, and thought it might be fun to share.
How Many of Me
You don't have to post your actual first and last name if you don't feel comfortable doing so, but share your numbers!
There is only one other person in the U.S with my name. eek I actually thought I would be alone, too. I must meet this other me!

With my name - none. But that's not surprise for my name is not actually American anyway. There could have been few still. There was lot of immigrants some time ago.

That's true, but a lot of the immigrant family names have slowly become Americanized. My dad's family name was O'Casey and now it's just Casey. I guess they didn't want to sound so Irish anymore. xD

We had here quite same effect. Lots of people moved in Finland from Sweden, so it's common to meet Andersons, Westerholms, Stenlunds etc. but many families had their names translated later when people started to feel that they're more finnish than swedish origin.
Example.. Kivijärvi. Not very common, but first I remembered. It means literally Stonelake. And it could have been Stensjö years and years ago.

There wasn't anyone else with my name (first and last together) which I didn't find too surprising. According to these stats, there are only 1,063 people in the U.S. with my last name. I know most of them live in SC, GA, and FL. I've done a little tree climbing (aka genealogy research) through my dad's family. smile

Haven't checked, but I know there's one other in my city with my first and last night... there was a mix-up in the ER one night when I forgot my health card at home... that wasn't the best.
But I don't live in the US.

there are a lot with my first name, but not compared to the entire population
No one has my last name with that name though.
My last name wasn't even on the database. XP
Apparently there is no one in the US named Jareth...
I think I will name my kid that if I have a boy. XD

I'm so common... 4,039,774 people have my first name... and It's the 5th most popular name... and my last name has 113,322 people... I'm so common...
