So, my a lot of my family live in Canada, in N.S to be precise, and so while I was there for a wedding, I learned that they had introduced a really stupid by-law that wouldn't allow cats to go outside their "owner's" property (like we can control cats sweatdrop ) so that basically mean not outside at all starting in april of 2008. Isn't that ridiculous? My cats would like die in that situation. Any input?

I am one of those people that believe that if you have cats they should be inside kitties only. Because cats are not like dogs and cannot be kept on a leash, unless you have a super kitty, I think they should be left inside. It is proven that cats that are inside kitties live longer than those allowed to rome free. They don't get hit by cars or posioned by nasty people, and they are less likely to get deases. So in short no I think it is a good idea to keep kitty inside, as for a law that is a bit stupid, and how would you inforce that law??

My kitties have a very short attention span and if they are not outside they play fight, of eat, or drive me crazy (which a certain someone is doing at the moment..*cough*juliet*cough*), so I think that they, themselves, would actually live longer being outdoor kitties. But I do respect your views. 3nodding And I don't understand how they'd enforce the by-law, either...lol.
