What if clank was never there in the game and instead was replaced with daxter how helpful daxter be in games like ToD

If Ratchet had Daxter as a partner, I doubt Ratchet would have started his adventure, or at least have it through jumping planets. In the first game, Clank was the one who introduced Ratchet to Drek's plans. If it were Daxter instead of Clank, Ratchet would probably be...a dead Lombax.
As a partner, I suppose he wouldn't be as metallic and nerdy. Although I can't assume any possible roles for Daxter in that universe considering the technology in that game.
Interesting to note: I don't believe Daxter would turn small and fuzzy if he was in Ratchet's world. There's no Dark Eco.

Actually now thinking back to begging of the first game when clank escaped from the factory to Ratchets planet I remeber now.
