Today as a adventure! After getting my prescription done at the brand new Safeway down the street they gave me a 20 dollar gift card for getting my prescription done with them their first week open or whatever- I was mostly paying attention to the free money part.

Anywho, the gift card falls neatly in line with the Indian cook book Lee and I recently got on the sales rack at Borders. So, today we picked out items to make and used the card for the ingredients.

I choose to make the dish Dahi Bhindi, or okra in yogurt sauce.



Thats not a picture of my dish, but a dish. Mine wasn't exact as we couldn't find onion seeds or green chilies, which was odd for a newly opened 'super store'. Still though, pretty tasty if I do say so myself. I have okra left over I'm gonna fry tomorrow. EXCITEMENT!

So instead of doing the Death Star for Will's cake I decided to do the scene on Mustafar where Obi-Wan and Anakin battle it out (Revenge of the Sith). Enjoy xD heart


I didn't have a preggers Padme so I had to improvise...


The platforms for R2 and Padme are made out of White Chocolate domokun


I stuck a couple LED lights in the cake to make it extra spiffy xd


You can barely see it in the picture but I had a little cup under R2's platform with dry ice so steam came out over the cake.


And a very happy birthday boy...as he should be with a wife who labors for hours in the kitchen for him scream
