Adam and I found L&L!!!!
I love my chicken katsu!!!!
*DROOLS*
And the L&L here is SO much better than the one in Kona. It's all clean and pretty with Hawaiian stuff all over the place and they play Hawaiian music...although right now they're playing Hawaiian/Christmas music.
But still it's AWESOME cause I can get my chicken katsu FIX.

And the L&L here is SO much better than the one in Kona. It's all clean and pretty with Hawaiian stuff all over the place and they play Hawaiian music...although right now they're playing Hawaiian/Christmas music.
But still it's AWESOME cause I can get my chicken katsu FIX. Oh... My... God... There is a place that serves chicken katsu out by you guys... Now I totally can't wait to move out there...

We have L&L out here too, and it's MUCH better than the ones in Hawaii. We also found another place called Ono Hawaiian BBQ and their stuff is really good (still no Kona Mix Plate though) I'm gonna have to get me some teri beef when I get to Kona domokun

The really shitty thing about getting Katsu Chicken in the mainland is most of I've been to don't know how to make the sauce right.

Oh, and Will? There's actually 2 around here: One's in Roseville and the other's near Ikea. Don't ask me where exactly those places are cause I don't know. xp
And I don't care whether it's L&L or not! It's ALL WE HAVE!!
Oh, btw, you guys should go to Pine Tree Cafe instead of Mix Plate. It's REALLY GOOD. It's on the way to the Airport, right past Costco (if you're coming from town or right before Costco if you're heading to town. You can see it from the Highway). Try the Katsu Dip. IT'S TO DIE FOR!

(The up to living in LA... good Mexican food everywhere.) Nothing compares to Mix Plate... which now I want now and have to wait till this summer to finally get! crying

I mean, its not bad. But it's not the old recipe which was AMAZING.
