what religion do those of you in this guild belive in?
What are your thoughts on it?
Do you think you might convert to something else?
I am personally agnostic, but i accept the beliefs of others and i'm very interested in talking about this subject if your not afraid to let your voice be heard. you just might turn someone else into a beliver!

Honestly, I don't really belive ANY religion, though I do belive small parts of some like yin-yang and reincarntion, mostly i will only belive what i can see with my own eyes like spirits, magic, science, and such

how do you guys feel about the big topics that are discussed on the news? stuff like, homosexuality, paganism, and *shudder* the Evangelist christians?

I was raised Catholic (By my dad), but I follow a slight mix of Buddhism an Wicca (like my mom). (my parents are not divorced, they just beleive in different things)
Things in the news? I believe in GLBT rights and I like peganism. But I am truely frightened of the Evangelical Church.

I understand that they are just following their religion, and I should not be mad at them for that.

is anyone here interested in seeing a movie called the golden compass? i read on another forum that the writer of the book was an Atheist and that he wrote the book series with the purpose of "killing god in the minds of young children". are there any opinions on this?

That part of the it really bothered me when I was reading the books. I don't know if the author's intent was as sinister as you make it sound, but he did incorperate his anti-religious beleif into it. However it is an amazing series and a good story and i look forward to seeing the movie.

i never meant to make it sound evil, i plan to see the movie myself. i was just pointing out how some people could take that to heart and make it something we all fear.
