Honestly I made this place specifically for the purpose of talkin with myself to figure stuff out. However, feel free to join me, won't.
(It's places like this that make people think we suffer from split personality disorder.)
Please note that this is something I occasionally do in reality to deal with my own issues seein as the only person who knows what I know and thinks like I think is me. Now it's time for people to meet the real Drowe's mrgreen

Well now it's been a while since we last chatted hasn't it?
I think the last time we focused on, I think it was you're whole view on "god" right?
Pssh you don't believe in god just because you can't prove he exists or not.
Well of course, it's not really so much that I don't believe that their is a god, it's I believe in the possibilities of both events, god existing and not existing. Even with the absolute proof god exists, I'll still never believe a god can exist. However that works in the opposite as well, with proof that god can not exist, that doesn't mean I'll believe a god can't exist.
How can you believe that. Take a look around. Can you not doubt that absence of god?
Absence? What absence, just because you can't see a god's involvement in something doesn't mean it isn't there.
Well how about the fact that there are all these religions out there. Each one vastly different from the other, would a god not want their religion to be the only one.
Yes I can see your point. However look at some of the major religions out there and you'll see plenty of evidence of common ground between them. Theres just been a lot of warping and misunderstandings throughout centuries of segregation from each other.
Well yeah... but then wouldn't that fact be something that could be proof of a god.
Again it could be, but then you have to look at the fact that these religions all were started somewhere. And the only way these religions could be in fact the proof of a god was if a god had started them. So you gotta look all the way back to the beginning of each and every one of these religions see what happened. This could be the work of god, or could be the result of several individuals just trying to accomplish something.
Well what if you look at the several individuals as god. Or humanity in general is god. Or take it a step further and looks at anything and everything in existence as god.
Well you've given me a bit to ponder... we'll have to continue this later.
Of course.
