That's right! Kapow!s first versus poll! It's King of the sea vs. King of the sea!

In this corner....Lord Namor of Atlantis!



The Submariner is a mutant hybrid of human and merman, and has superhuman strength, Speed & Stamina (greater underwater) & ability to adapt to underwater conditions & breath underwater...Can swim up to 60 MPH for hours...Amphibious & ability to fly. Also the ability to telepathically command undersea life.


And, in the opposing corner...Lord Orin, King of Atlantis!



His powers include:

Ability to communicate directly with sea life
Ability to sense the primal emotions of aquatic creatures through "The Clear"
Heavy-Duty telepathy allows him to control any aquatic creatures
Sonar power which allows him to detect things when blinded
Can swim underwater at rates up to 100 mph
Can withstand extremes of temperature and pressure

(and, yes, I'm not including the Waterbearer powers here, as I'm not sure of them. Please, anyone who does know of them, or any of Namor's power-ups over the years, please include them!)


This is a battle for the ages, taking place on land, on sea, in the air, anywhere and everywhere! Who is strongest? Who has the greatest will? Whose fishies will help them first?! WHO WILL WIN?!.....YOU DECIDE!

Namor is Thing class strength.

Alot of people are mad at Arthur lately.. still wouldn't wanna mess with the man.

Namor hasn't had any power ups really over the years. He isn't as consistent in comics as Aquaman is. That's why he's probably been given so many power ups.

Not sure exactly how unlimited Namor's invunerability is but he's taken hits from some of the hardest hitters and walked away...bullets, etc.

But I think we can see who's more popular here. stare

Namor would win! he's dramatic, strong, very greek/shakespearean in nature (especially old cartoon in the 60s, he reminds me so much of Oedipus tyranus in that show whee ) plus, he slept with sue richards, he's marvel's first and mightiest mutant (copyright), he has the rage of a royal hulk, he's incredibly strong, and unlike a certain underwater "ruler", he hasn't lost one of his hands.

oh....and he beat the crap out of his ex-wife. that's always good. 3nodding xd

Hmmm..if you think about, Namor is classified as an aquatic mammal...and what can Aquaman do...yeah....

Always liked Curry better anyway, he never had the lame one look that Namor did.

Besides, Aquaman has cool lines....look at the recent JLU.

But you see Aquaman have a better understanding, seeing as i've hardly seen Namor use it to the extent Arthur does.
