Proud of your latest creation? Want to show it off to the world? This is the place to do it! ---------------------- I'll start the thread with this - a dodecahedron I made out of post-it notes. It took me about two hours while watching The Incredibles. whee I have to have some kind of background noise while I'm doing this modular origami stuff or I go insane.

Most of these were done during history or science class (apologies in advance to history and science teachers). It's like doodling (you know like with a pencil and paper...) except I fold things out of white printer paper I keep in my notebooks...(apologies to origami enthusiasts who feel I have detracted from the beauty of these models by using white printer paper) and I still get A's, so no one worry about me. Most of these are pretty simple to make, but they're also fun or random or something.
ATTN Origami Purists (like me!): No scissors were used in the making of this topic.Plain old box neutral teh box with wings!! 4laugh Ishibashi Ball It looks cool! 3nodding Sanbo Sometimes spelled "sanbow." It's like a little container thing...? Albino Pinecone I didn't have brown paper mad Sampan Flat bottomed boat thing. Insanely long sampan! My own invention! 4laugh Rose cube (open) Rose cube (closed) Now you see why they call it a rose CUBE. (it's a cube that morphs into a rose...this is the above rose in it's cube form) These are most of the models I know by heart. I have really good photographic memory. For instance, the rose cube. By the time I finished folding my first one, I had it memorized. I learned in a class at Origami USA.

Cool! I'd be interested in learning how to make the rose cube... do you know if there are any instructions online for it? (Or you could make a thread here about it... wink *nudge nudge*)
I'm obsessed with rose models or something. Jeez.

Well, I learned the rose cube in a class, so I'm not sure if there are instructions online...but I can see why one would be obsessed with rose models, they're beautiful and there's so many! I've been really busy, but I'll try and fit it in one weekend.

xD The box with wings is awesome. And I admire anyone who attempts modular origami; it looks pretty difficult. Or at least time-consuming. You all have great stuff (:
Here's some of the stuff I've done so far.
I forgot what this flower is called, but...there's that. Sorry, the picture came out crappy. But the double-sided paper worked great for this. smile
My cat checking out the giraffe. This was actually the first one I had done in about 10 years.
A pile of cranes. xD I'm in the process of stringing them all up.
Some more cranes, hanging from a bamboo stick. These things are all over my apartment. It's like a sickness. D:
That's all I have right now...I've kinda just been working on the cranes lately. heart
P.S. Let me know if the pictures are too big. I scaled them down 30%, but they still seem large.

I just tried out working with composite paper over the break, and got some really cool-looking stuff! Here's a photo I spruced up for display on my dA page. Sorry it's a little big. You can view the deviation here if you so desire. wink

xD No, I'm not that good. I just put the hummingbird there because I didn't have any string to hang it up with.

ooh, this is cool. i always wanted to be a part of an origami group. so far, i'm getting a little bored with all the stuff i can make. it'd be cool if i could try some things that other people have made. i'll try to upload some pictures if i get the chance, but i'll have troubble getting a camera. and if anyone wants a model to make, i could probably give a pretty good recomendation.(my bookshelves are filled with origami books!) whee
