This is where all off-topic chatter goes. whee Yay!
Random question: Do any of you ride bikes? Mine is my main mode of transportation since I live on a college campus. I can't keep it inside, so whenever it rains/snows/etc. I always have a wet bike seat to look forward to in the morning. Ugh. gonk

Hi smile
I am going to try to make that Crane. I made one a long time ago, but if it was a real crane, I bet it wouldn't have been able to fly wink
Thanks for making this Guild. I will recommend it to the members of my own Guild I founded smile
Peace

I will try and be as active as I can. My schedule is busy, but I think that Origami is worth some of my time smile It is nice of you to add the instructions for fumble finger folders like me smile
I am more of a words man, rather than a hands on artist (though those two things can blend, such as in Calligraphy, etc). So, for me, Origami is a good way to be grounded in the physical moment.

Yeah, I know how that goes. My schedule has been insane too, and it probably won't let up until after finals week is over (in two weeks). x_x Otherwise I would be adding new instructions to the guild a lot more quickly. Thanks for hanging around while our selection of models is kind of cruddy. xD

Well, hurro. :} I'm liking the guild so far. Thanks for making it. biggrin
Answer to your random question: For some reason, me and bikes are bad news. All of mine either get stolen or mangled. The last one I had was when I was 16, and after that was demolished, my parents refused to allow me any more. xD
But I have a car, so that's how I get around.
But the apartment I moved into has two really nice bikes sitting in the garage o: So I might just steal those, come summer.
Have you ever considered carrying around a plastic bag on days like that? If you just stick one in your bag, you can tie it around the base of the seat so it won't get wet or snowy. :3

I tried that, honestly, and the plastic bags would either leak or get ripped. Or they'd be wet from previous times I'd use them. xd
I've fully transferred over to using the bus now, so now I'm afraid I have to find another form of exercise or put on some winter pounds. Gaah. x_x;;

Aww, that sucks. xD You need one of the hardcore bags like they give out at big department stores. You know, the ones with 2 inches of plastic? ;D
Buses work, too. x]
I'm a lazy bum, also o: But I've found para-para dancing to be an addictive and fun way to work out. (:

xD! You play Para Para Paradise?! I tried that once... in public... I was so embarrassed I couldn't finish my song.
I have no problem playing DDR in public, though. o_O Weird.

Haha, actually, I haven't. I only recently found out about the game, I've never seen one of the machines in my life. ;___; Actually, the nearest one (yush, I looked it up) is in Lockport, about 5 hours from where I live. So, that's out. xD
I just learn routines from videos I find online. Right now, I'm stuck on this one. It's addicting. D:
I think being embarrassed by the PPP probably has something to do with the ridiculous arm waving. Stomping isn't as bad as flailing around like you're having a seizure.

I finally made the frog smile
Too bad I don't have a pic... he was fun to make. I am glad that there are origami projects that start out easier for those of us that would not be able to jump in so fast... I am find this very relaxing smile
