Reaching down to his shoulders, David has curly hair that he generally ties back in a simple cloth or in a decorative ornament depending on the company he is in.

Lively brown irises colour his eyes.

Tanned and fair. David possesses a complexion that some might consider beautiful.

A tall man, David stands at about six feet and four inches tall.

In an around two hundred pounds
~Clothing~
Wearing the standard shinigami attire, it is David's haori that separates him from not only other shinigami but also other Taichō. Long and cloak like, David's haori resembles desert garb and lacks the boarder designs that generally line the bottom edge but maintains the division logo on his back.

~Personality~
A kind person by nature, David is very easy to be around. Soft spoken and polite, he never goes unnoticed but at the same time isn't often a disturbance in the atmosphere. However despite his easy going and gentle ways he also possesses a swift and merciless combativeness. A trained warrior he is not without his aggression and sense of competition. Very intelligent though, he is not often forced into situations in which require him to take the offense for very long.

Zanpakuto parameters
~Magen~
...an impenetrable shield...
{Sealed}
In its sealed state Magen is no different then any other katana, with the exception of its guard. It's guard is that of two gold triangles interlaced with each other, forming a six pointed star. The hilt is wrapped in a fine sky blue cloth.
{Shi kai}
"Prepare yourself, Magen"

Changing little from its sealed state, Magen's initial release sees only a change in the guard. A circle forms around the star and the two become a pure blue colour.
.:Abilities:.
A Kidō based Zanpakutō, Magen is able to create powerful and stable barriers around both David and those close to him. Also after much training David has been able to produce barriers around those that are at a distance from him.
In addition to being able to form barriers David has shown to be capable of extending his blade both in length and width by controlling the shape of the barriers and creating them in an extension to the blade.
~Mazzaroth~

David's bankai sees a drastic change in both its name and in its form. No longer in the form of a sword, Mazzaroth takes the form of a large six pointed star and floats up and behind David. It appears to be formed out of a golden reitsu. Aside from the main body there are six other smaller stars floating about, three on either side of the larger one. The two directly next to the main one are silvery in colour while the other four are a light blue
.:Abilities:.
The bi-product of his study and mastery of reiatsu control, David's bankai possesses an ability from each of the arts.
The large golden star is the star of power and when called upon is transformed into a giant gold sword. Its abilities are focused on offense and the channeling of reiatsu into destructive waves.
The silver star to the right of the golden star is the star of healing and when called upon is transformed into a small gourd containing a seemingly endless amount of ointment in which to treat the injured and cure them of any ailment.
The Silver star to the left of the golden star is the star of communication and when called upon takes the form of a blue flame. It has the greatest range of all of David's bankai abilities. It appears before those in whom the message is meant and is able to communicate to them in a manner in which they would be able to understand.
The first blue star located to the right of the golden star, is the star of judgment and takes the form of a book with a sapphire cover and back. It is a medium for binding spells.
The first blue star located to the left of the golden star, is the star of death and when called upon takes the form of a scythe. It power dabbles in destructive spells.
The second blue star to the right of the golden star is the star of transportation and when called upon takes the form of wings that enable David to reach speeds in which he would otherwise be unable to and to carry things in which would seem to large by pocketing them in a extra dimensional pocket.
The second blue star to the left of the golden star is the star of Location. When called upon it takes the form of a third eye located on David's forehead. With it activated David can see distinct trails left by whatever it is he is focusing on. At full power he is able to locations far out of view.
Using all the stars to form different constellations, David is able to create a virtually impenetrable shield as it uses like minded energy to cancel out the attacks used against it.

V Zanpakuto's identity~Name(s)~Mazzaroth is the name of the entirety of the bankai well each individual star has its own name that corresponds to an angel in Judo and Christian myth. The name of the individual stars are as follows:
Michael (gold star)
Raphael (right silver star)
Gabriel ( left silver star)
Uriel (first blue star to the right)
Sariel (first blue star to the left)
Raguel (second blue star to the right)
Remiel (second blue star to the left) ~Appearance~Mazzaroth is a term meaning lights in the sky and so its true appearance is not of one but of seven winged beings.
Michael, holding the sword that is formed from his star
Raphael. The gourd formed from his star takes the colour of his wings

Uriel
Sariel, holding the spear granted to David when calling upon his star
Raguel. Smaller forms of his wings are what appear on David when accessing the power of his star.
Remiel. The third eye is bigger then the mark on his forehead, although that is where it grows on the angel.
~Personality~.:Michael:.Confident to the point of arrogance, Michael is the leader of the seven and in being so has the personality to fit the spot..:Raphael:.The healer of the seven, Raphael is very kind and gentle..:Gabriel:.I In charge of communication, Gabriel is quite the talker. Able to talk in any language there is nothing stopping him except for his orders. Though he would rather just talk and talk he usually sticks to saying only what he has been ordered to..:Uriel:.Merciless and judgmental are two words that describe Uriel perfectly. He is one who takes it upon himself to fairly judge all and so that is what he does..:Sariel:.Slightly twisted, Sariel takes pleasure in killing and is more then content with lending David his powers to reach such ends..:Raguel:.In contrast to his abilities to travel at high speeds, Raguel's personality leans more towards his size. He is quite slow an unintelligent. He however has good judgment and has the speed to act upon that..:Remiel:.Rather quite, Remiel is rather passive and would rather watch then take part in any event. Quite often perceived as being lazy, he is not quite as lazy as people take him for.

History
Hailing from the 80th district of Rukongai David's past isn't one looked upon kindly by the inhabitants of Seireitei. Having come to Soul Society as a young man he had been brought to a place full of violence and in order to survive had been forced to undergo such violence himself. Becoming skilled in swordsmanship during his time in Zaraki, David had experienced conversations with a number of beings during his dreams. It was from these beings that he learned the name of his shikai, Magen, and how to use it. From then on he swore never to take the life of those who he encountered for he now had a way in which he could defend himself without causing harm to his assailant. Despite his time in the most unlawful district he was able to leave with his humanity in tact. In fact it was from his humanity that his sir name was driven. Living off the land instead of the people, it was the innocents that gave him the name Muyoku, meaning free of avarice.
Having spent nearly one hundred and fifty years within the boarders of Zaraki, David began a march inward. He no longer wanted to be with a land that knew nothing of kindness and so he began his quest inward. Moving in circles, he would spend the next hundred and fifty years traveling around the rest of Rukongai taking in the different life styles of the inhabitants. It wouldn't be long until he began his final march to the gates of Seireitei. He was set on joining the ranks of the shinigami with hopes of accessing their vast storage of information so that he could attempt to figure out who he had once been before coming to the realm of the dead.

Present
Having realized his bankai before departing from Zaraki, David had made his way to the front door of the shinigami with one desire. To become Taichō of the 12th division of the Gotei 13. His desires rested within the vast collection of information that would be at his finger tips. If there was a chance of him finding out who he once had been then he would become Taichō no matter the cost.
Being granted access to the grounds he quickly confronted the previous Taichō in a battle viewed by over 200 of his subordinates and came forth the victor. With his victory came his title in which he has held for the past two hundred years. However despite being the Taichō of the 12th division it was still some time after that he succeeded the past Taichō in becoming the third president of the Shinigami Research Institute.

I know my Bankai has one to many abilities but it took me a s**t load of time to look up the names and best known abilities of all the archangels so cut me some slack sweatdrop
