I live in the middle of no were! So the only internet i get is dial up. It sucks.
Does anyone know a faster internet service that can be transmitted by a satelite or something? One that I can use the phone and internet?
Can you plz help? biggrin

I know Blaster didn't for awhile when he lived out in teh middle of nowhere...then they put it in...

Actually if your talking about satellite, you can use that but its not worth it because it gets affected by the atmospheric changes to much it isn't funny. Just be patient as they take their time installing DSL, even out in the country >>

Well there was a special thing they had up here in western NY that had cable going through your satellite. But I forgot the name of it.

Do they have cable in your area? Or maybe 3G cell phone coverage?
If they don't... oh man, I really feel your pain, I remember the day when I used my aunts' dial up, which they used to buy via pre-paid card because they read their mail once a week at most, and I ******** you not, I measured with a protocol analyzer how Facebook took like 10 minutes to load! gonk

I could beat Solitaire on the computer before connecting. That's how slow it was. And if they had 3G cell phone coverage, it would be kind of strange to not have some form of broadband internet service.
