So all (or most at least) of us have heard the term: "Bros before hoes". (Sorry for its degrading!! I only quote!! Plus, I'm a chick. So if that helps in anyway...)
Anyways, I digress. I have a simple question. Would you choose: your friendship or a potential dating-ship?
Further explanation: you have a crush who seems interested in you. Sadly, your friend is also interested in that crush. Whom would you choose? The friend, preferring to keep the "more-likely to last" relationship? Or the potential boy/girlfriend, who might not be around very long, just long enough to destroy a friendship?
**I need opinions. I have done this to my friend. My friend liked this guy who ended up asking me out. I said 'yes' to him. BIG MISTAKE! And it's happening again. Is it really all that bad? Or am I blowing things out of proportions?

It might be different for girls, but guys normally don't mind too much, mostly because we don't tell our friends who we like.

See, here is the thing about bros before hoes. if two friends like a girl, it's more a fight for her, than putting one before the other. You both want her, so you both try to get her. It sounds ... shallow ... maybe. But that's just how it works. It's not shallow if you really get what i'm saying. It really is better for the girl, cuz she has two guys trying to impress her. Anyway, i'm getting off on a rant. Bros before hoes kicks in AFTER a relationship is over. When another guy would step in to take the guys Ex. THAT, is a slap in the face. To do that to another guy, is lame as hell. Furthermore, it will probably get your a** beat. THAT, is what it means to keep "Bros, before hoes"

Hmm... Thanks!!
I guess I mean it from a girl's stance then. I didn't think about it being easier for guys (in a slight regard). Yeah it's a plus for the chick... It's probably so bad for girls because we're all so emotional and at least one of us is PMS-ing and stuff. haha. So things are worse than should be... But yeah. With girls, you either show loyalty to those who stay with you no matter what or you go after the one you want regardless of others. If the latter occurs... Consider yourself a lost cause to your friend... lol. It's horrible. Only one of the many negatives of the female sex... But whatever.
And do you guys not tell your friends because this same drama is possible? Or because you don't trust each other? xd Just kidding about the last part. But seriously, how come?? lol

Ha, the day my friend broke up with his girlfriend of two weeks I got together with her on the same day, hows that for a slap in the face, at the time i wasnt thinking but looking back at it I was just a jerk, but i wouldnt change it since i was with her for two and a half years before i left the country.
Anyways, going on what i just said its all just a gamble, if they are a good friend you dont want to do that to them, however if they are a good friend they should respect that and stay your friend so its sort of a catch 22.
But i love to gamble so I didnt think (thats a bad thing)

Hahaha!! Well... Let me just say here and now, that I don't take gambles. I don't have any sort of such luck as necessary for gambling. haha!
But there's a song by The Classic Crime called 'The Poet'. One of the lines is "A warrior poet said, "Have no regrets when you're old." So yeah. hahaha! I agree about never regretting any decision like that. I just regret any negative results it creates.
