Yuki is, to put it short, child-like. She looks like a child, acts like one and is just as troublesome. Now, due to her acting like one... It'll take someone really mature to get her to follow. One with great patience, also what with her being so stubborn. Really, it's enough to drive anyone up against the wall. That's pretty much why she's as troublesome as one.

Ah, she also has this really cheerful disposition. Playing around, showing no respect for her superiors(although that can be included with her being troublesome) and continually being annoying. It's a wonder how she ever became a Captain. Yuki can also be seen arguing with Hyouryuu... a.k.a. her Zanpakuto.

When in a fight, though, her whole attitude becomes serious. She's more determined and waaay more stubborn. She hates losing really really bad. Yuki definitely has one huge pride. That's because she's scared of failing. She's also scared of losing the ones she loves most. It's because of her losing too many people already that this happens...

[ IV. Teh Zanpakuto ]

H.y.o.u.r.y.u.u
. . . The Dragon that freezes even the Heavens . . .

{Unreleased}

|| Appearance ||
In its normal state, Hyouryuu is just like any other katana. The sheath is usually tied to Yuki's left side by a white sash. Its guard, though, is a black square and the blade is of a light blue color rather than the usual silver.

{Shi Kai}
"Pierce, Hyouryuu!"

|| Appearance ||
The katana divides and becomes two individual swords. The handle becomes a circle with the blade being in a sort of diamond shape with a deep blue stripe in the middle. The bluish color (other than the one in the middle) is lighter and there are Japanese markings on the stripe that's read as Koori no Ryuu.

(Note: Koori no Ryuu literally means Ice Dragon.
Koori-Ice. Ryuu-Dragon. Although I'm not that sure on the translating).

|| Abilities ||
It enables anything it cuts to turn into ice. Hyouryuu can also create a wave of ice coming from the blade itself using the atmosphere's moisture. This also relies in her consistency to produce these waves from both blades. Either that or she creates an even stronger one with both.

{Ban Kai}
Tengoku no Hyouryuu
. . . Heaven's Ice Dragon . . .

"Freeze, Hyouryuu!"

|| Appearance ||
It is the same as with her Shi Kai. Twin Blades.

|| Abilities ||
Creates a smaller yet more powerful dragon (same logic as with Ichigo's Bankai). The dragon is usually perched on Yuki's shoulder which can get Yuki to act faster than she was already as well as give more power to her attacks. Although it doesn't look much like a threat, it's actually fairly powerful. Its claws as well as its own body can be used to pierce through anything, its speed quite fast. Hyouryuu's breath can also be used to freeze anything thus 'Freeze' as its release phrase.

[ V. Teh Spirit Inside ]

User Image

|| Name ||
Hyouryuu

|| Appearance ||
The spirit inside Hyouryuu, although it literally means ice dragon, is not at all a dragon. Sure, her Ban Kai is of a dragon but that was due to Hyouryuu assuming its most powerful form... Which is of a dragon. Hyouryuu's own appearance is clearly reflected in the dragon, though.

His hair is of a silver color, thus explaining the dragon's silver body. His eyes are blue, cheery when he's smiling and cold when he's serious. Hyouryuu or Hyou-chan as Yuki calls him when face-to-face doesn't look at all old. Actually, he looks pretty young... Around 19 or 20 when in fact, he's much older than that.

|| Personality ||
Hyouryuu... Is like Yuki. Really. Minus the childish part. In fact, he's quite mature and hates it when Yuki acts all child-like around him. Sure, she can annoy the other people just not him. When Hyouryuu gets annoyed, his personality is exactly like Yuki's when she's annoyed. Never giving up, shouts, going to violence, the like. Oh, and he loves annoying her. Hey, he was forged by her own soul, ne?

[ VI. Teh Childhood Days ]

It was a cold winter night. The snow fell on the grounds of Seireitei, which was now a realm of white, bits of the buildings seen yet the ground was completely covered. In the large Amane household lay a woman, her hair silvery, her eyes of the same color as she looked lovingly at a small child making her way towards her. She seemed unbalanced and was trying hard to walk toward her, her short hands before her as she tried maintaining her balance.

"That's it, Yuki... Short steps," the older woman said, her hands in front of her ready to catch the three-year-old (in the age of our world), who soon lost her balance and fell on the wooden floor. The woman, Jushime was her name, ran over to the fallen child, who had tears in her eyes which she was rubbing, her face red due to the tears.

Her mother's voice soothed her and calmed her down, her frown changed to a big smile. Footsteps, a man with blue hair entered the room. His deep blue eyes had a cheery color in them as he approached Jushime and the little girl, placing his hands on her head. Oh, she remembered those days... Those days when her father was different...

~`~

As she grew, her father's sternness also did. He changed. There was no longer that cheery feeling Yuki gets when around him. Instead, there was dread. This always happens to the power-hungry... And her father was now one of them. Why can't they be in the Four Great Noble Families? Why should they stand for being lower? No. He wouldn't stand for it. That's why he trained Yuki.

Why Yuki? Why not himself? Because he's cruel, that's why. Aside from that, there's him saying he's getting old and that he needs to get his daughter into one who can achieve Bankai. Yuki did so. Yuki had a sensei. Yuki was pushed into training. Harsh training. Her father overlooked some of these trainings and in them, she always lost. Always. She wished her mother can say something about this but Yuki knew she can't. Jushime was very much under Takuya, the name of her father. If not for him and his stubborness (which Yuki inherited), Yuki would've had an easier childhood.

[ VI. Teh Later Years ]

Years passed by, Yuki didn't look the least bit domineering. That is, until she starts fighting. She could easily take down most of those at the Shinigami Academy at times when her family would take a little trip there. Yuki wasn't enrolled in the Academy due to her extensive training. Seriously, her dad's a maniac. Of course, Yuki herself does what she's told to do for fear of being hated. Not by her father (she could care less about him) but her mother.

Now, her mother loves her father very much and would do practically everything he tells her to. Yet, he doesn't tell her to do anything at all even. He loves her just as much but it doesn't look like it's the same for Yuki. He used to love her... He just became waay power-hungry.

[ VI. Teh Shinigami ]

|| Division ||
Tenth

|| Rank ||
Captain / Taicho

|| Teh Story Behind It ||

Now, Yuki had really grown up to be a very skillful warrior. Even those who have spent much time in training in the Shinigami School she could beat. Though she received much complaints from people saying how it was unfair, she didn't care. It wasn't unfair. It was their fault for not training harder. Yuki wasn't much like her present self back then. She was more serious and cold, a bit anti-social even. The total opposite of herself, ne?

Well, that was pretty much when she met this certain person. He was the best in the Academy at that time. And he had defeated her. She didn't know how, but he did. Maybe she was a bit too arrogant? Basing on what he said, though, she was a bit too stiff. Too uptight. She took that as an insult at that time. How dare he call her stiff?! Yet she found herself changing gradually over time. Seems like she took what he said subconsciously... Changing completely to who she is now.

She found herself a better warrior than before, being able to increase her agility and such. Psychological reasons, apparently. Yuki was also nicer and was able to reach out to other people, especially the people in her division, where she got in quite easily thanks to family ties and whatnot. Even though she was nice about it, they didn't like her. Why should she get in without doing anything? Not that she didn't do anything, that is.

That was pretty much how she achieved Bankai. Getting those criticisms was a huge pain that she had to deal with everyday. She gradually became Captain, going up quite fast through the ranks, where soon she was respected by all.

What else do you expect from someone who has been trained ever since she could walk?
