I was in class a few weeks ago, and during our break, someone busted out her laptop and started playing an episode of Hana Yori Dango. Ever since then, I started getting into these doramas. Personally, I'm hooked on Tantei Gakuen Q (a show about a special detective school for kids), but since they need time to put in subtitles, I figured to ask everyone what shows they like, and what they're about.

My favorite would be Ichi Rittoru no Namida. It's a very sad dorama. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't yet seen it.

Although I don't have any personal experience, I am not exactly
interested. The whole soap opera drama thing doesn't
sit very well with me.
But I do imagine it
would be much more tolerable and creative than our
American soap operas only due to the amount of
dedication put into Japanese entertainment.
