I've been so out of the loop lately.
I finally the tv switched on to the news (I never get to watch the boob tube anymore) and it happened upon John Oliver talking about the strike. Unfortunately, everyone in the house was talking, so I missed it.
I did a little reading up on it, so I understand the gist. I'm just concerned with how TDS/TCR will be. Has there been an obvious effect on their shows (like I said. Show deprived.)?

I would say the effect is obvious, yes.
There haven't been any new shows since the strike began.
I think the Writers Guild's concerns are fair, though. So I'm willing to sit through the reruns.

I've felt empty w/o these two men! It's like there's nothing to watch at ten! News? Really....real news?! No freakn way....! That's what I live for MOn-Thrs...and now what...once Heroes is gone...so am I...oh and House...it's like I have no reason for living...excpet Dr. Who that's why I decided to get into it...but yeah...I need these men back!!

If you guys are really concerned about the strike you should head over to the No Fact Zone for the latest updates and info on the strike. They even have a list of things you can do to support the writers. My personal opinion is that they're all a bunch of evil corporate overlords. EVILLL!!! Why can't they PAY the little guy who helps make their sixty bedroom mansions possible? *ahem* Anyway, I've been boycotting the TDS/TCR re-runs, and not watching anything from comedycentral.com [because they don't get PAID for stuff from the internet].

I support the WGA and all that, but come on. surprised I'm an addict. A Colbert addict. Re-runs only work so many times before I get bored of them. (though just staring at TCR and TDS does work. ;p)
