Do your friends know, at least? when I cam out, they were a huge help. My stepdad is ignorant as well, and he would more than likely kill me if he knew.

My coming out was.....interesting to say the least....

I had just broken up with my second b.f and came into my mom's room as nervous as hell and was like, "Mom...I like someone new..."
mom: *doesnt even look up fro her book* "Caitlin?"
Me: o.O "Mom! She's dating my best friend!" (note: At that moment I was on the phone with caitlin who started laughing)
Mom: "...Oh Tracie then?" *actually looks up now*
Me: O.O "How...?"
Mom: "You to act like ou're dating."
Me: >////< (Caitlin: *still laughing*)
I think the purpose of me telling you all that (besides a nice laugh) is that friends do help a lot. If I hadnt had the support of all my friends then I probably would've never told my parents/....then I ould probably not be dating tracie at this moment and time.
*hugs November* The best advice I can give you is to def. make sure you have a couple of close friends. They make all the difference. And remember we're always here to listen. Granted we cant do much but we can listen and give advice.

Ah I have missed a few things here, sorry sweatdrop
As for coming out in a new place.. it's good to get some close friends first as Emi-chan said before you say anything, then again I met someone new at the beginning of the year, she was new to our school and first thing I said to her was "So I'm bi." just to get it out of the way just so if she didn't like it than i wouldn't get close to her and tell her only to find out she didn't like me.
But that's just me and the fact that half the school knows of me and my g/f.. well actually only the people in grade 12 mostly know, even though they're not my graduating class, where almost all of them are gone now. (I miss my class from last year.. i got along with them even though I didn't like a lot of them, it sucks being in a class with people a year younger, they're sooo different to be in a class with)
